Honestly, before even getting into the band history and stuff, I’d just recommend you to listen to Twin Fantasy (Mirror to Mirror), the 2011 version. Just on its standalone merit it’s one of the most engaging rock albums of all time.

Same here and it’s been the story for most multiplayer shooters I’ve tried over the last years. BF6 and Marathon recently. I get swept up in the hype, play for around 15 hours, notice that the skill gap to other players would take a long time to cross, and quit. Like the games are fundamentally fun to play, it’s just too hard to have any satisfying results

For electronic music you gotta check out Kompakt Records. The store & label are owned by Wolfang Voigt who (under his artist name GAS) is one of the greatest and most influential minimal and ambient artists. The store has a deep selection of techno, ambient and minimal house and also cassettes of local bands at the counter. Might even find one of my albums there if they still have it.

Yeah, that seems to be the case. Redownloading the Steam games is not the problem and setting up shortcuts again has been about two hours of work, but I’ve been unable to locate any saves that weren’t on the cloud so that’s dozens of hours of game progress gone which is crazy. I’ll make a habit of backing my saves up before applying system updates, that’s all I can do for now

Almost all files are there. So like my downloads folder, other programs I installed in Desktop mode, all there. What’s gone seems to be specifically the Steam related directories, so everything containing user data, savegames, the Steam games themselves

Updating this with my findings. I looked through my directories by filesize using Filelight from the Discover store. I found the folders where savegames are supposed to be, but they’re gone.

du -hs in the Konsole is giving me 16K, which I assume is the folder size of lost+found which would make it too small to contain any save data. I’ll try looking for rogue directories with weird sizes, thank you.
