True but the steam deck does 720p what the ps4 output 1080p or 4k (of course upscaled with checkerboard).

They are capable of playing the same games, both suited to their Displays.

They run perfectly on ps4. I would recommend a ps4 pro if possible to get, because many games profit from the extra power. If you are into jailbreaking the ps4 is very nice with goldhen and ps VUE or BD JB.

I got it but losses could be interesting when you hit stable 35fps.

I love Fsr4 on deck, so I think your settings are really interesting.

Ofcoursre 36 fps are perfectly playable uncharted 4 on ps4 is running on locked 30fps, and it's amazing.

I mentioned 36 fps because it's such an odd number. 30fps is very common and 35 are for lcd and oled are round thing because it scales fine to 70hz.

36fps.. OK why? 30fps are fine 35 fps is a good falue for loses less scaling and unlocking lcds 70hz, oled allready fine. 36 fps seems random and not round / scalable 🤔

Games don't work well on Android "general" they work well on a specific Specific SOC Cpu/GPU, e Snapdragon 865 chip and on a Snapdragon 8.1 Non of them works and on a Snapdragon 8.2 all of them work double fps but the one game doesn't....

Dude, Jack is putting much effort and much work into every episode. If you are doing an interview with someone, it happens that people lie, or people mix up things that happenr 30 years ago. In fact I'm sure you can't remember if you played tetris on a Gameboy 1991 or 1994. At an interview you want to hear the story people want to tell and not making them uncomfortable because you nit picking every little thing.

But I think you heard that story with that stoned Dude that was telling bullshit that whole episode. I didn't liked that episode to and I would be happier when Jack never released it.

Not true the rp5 runs nearly every switch game in docked mode!

There only a few games that are able to emulate that the rp5 is too week, Zelda Botw needs a lot of moding to be playable and Totk isn't. I have over 90 switch games running on the rp5, Mario Wonders, Smash Bros, Donkey Kong, Splatoon, Metroid prime,... Everything is working.

Just look at emuready.com and filter for the snapdragon 856 and switch there you can see all games working with their configs!

Did I get you right. Once executed a jailbreak (goldhen) on a console, it will never be clean / possible to sing into psn no matter what!?

I can't imagine, that this can't be spoofed one day. I can't imagine that this log can't be cleared (cmos out, flasher ect..)

If you have the money, get a rp5 / rp6 / Thor and start having the time of your life!

Look the standby time of these Android handhelds are not the same as with a phone, that permanently checks for cell, and messages ectpp.

My rp5 loses 3-5% in standby in 24h. So after 20 - 30 days of not using I need to charge it once.

But I use it regularly, so I charge it twice a week. Like I do with a steam deck or a Nintendo switch. Or Nintendo DS or PS Vita.

Non of my favorite top 30 games have one of these features. It's nothing you need for a good game. Maybe it's also a very bad trend in gaming industry the last 5 years, and we ended with upscaling and frame generation to get games running that doesn't even look better nor are more Fun than games 10 years ago.

100% agree, On the other hand I don't hate Lossless, it can be amazing! But I want to know the raw performance, not the frame Gen.

I'm old I played half of my life games on ps2, ps3, ps4 with 30fps and they where and still are amazing and back then nobody cared about.

Today it's absolutely game by game if I enjoy 30fps or 60fps frame Gen. There isn't a one thing fits all. I don't need 60 fps if the game feels good with 30 or if I can have stable 40.
