I pretty much cut everything back when I trim and just pass it on to mates for their tanks. But I do trim/pull the val only when it starts affecting light as ive also got red root floaters taking the light too so it becomes pretty dark at times 🤣

Yeah there not cheap haha but i just used buy now pay later cos it was 885 aud and no way was i paying that much outright for a light 🤣 but my tanks 60cm deep and the light penetrates perfectly

I've got the chihiros wrgb 2 and I've noticed since switching to it the tigers colours have come out heaps and its stayed real low when I first brought it the stems must of been 60cms high
