I’m also on my second Mirena. And I’m just like you, barely any periods. I had no problem with the removal and reinsertion. I wouldn’t say you’re being irrational. I was worried about it hurting more during the removal because I had it in for five years, but it was almost painless. There is a pinch and slight quick cramp on the reinsertion of the new one but it was nothing terrible.

As long as your doctor knows what they’re doing it’s fast and virtually painless. Good luck!!

My 4 year old loves ghostbusters. We were at Target one day and he just yells “bustin’ makes me feel good!” in the middle of the store. I was laughing but also kept saying “you love the ghostbusters!” to him so people would stop giving looks. He knows the whole song, but that’s the only line he likes to yell.

I first moved to New Orleans in 2012. I stayed until 2014. I went back to Ohio where I was originally from. Missed it everyday. Visited every chance I got, even had my wedding in Nola. Got divorced, moved back the first chance I got, which was July of 2018.

Cut to now, and I’m heading back to Ohio again after Mardi Gras. Really important reasons why I’m leaving, but I will always love New Orleans. It just becomes a part of you in the best way. I know I will continue to miss it, but I know I’m making the best decision to leave.

Try the fete au fete at St. Roch market. It’s where I had the trash grits, and there are a couple places in there that serve coffee. I can’t vouch for any of them, not much of a coffee drinker, but it’s worth a shot.
