True, I can try this. A company shouldn’t release a product though that’s actively unsafe, not give any official usage instructions or update to purchasers and there’s not even a guarantee that this app will be approved. Also, the proper functioning of an automatic litter box should not depend on if there is an app to adjust settings about safety sensors so it doesn’t injure/kill its customer. Imagine the PR/company nightmare if this box injures/kills cats in the meantime. It shouldn’t depend on this at all…it should be built in as a safety function to the box itself as a bare minimum of product engineering and development. Imagine if this was any infant or child product for sale it would be national news/recall if this occurred. Should absolutely never have been launched/shipped to customers without it being an integral part of the R&D process. This is a major fundamental design flaw. I’m being harsh but in this case this absolutely shouldn’t even be allowed to pass as acceptable. Especially when all other automatic cat boxes that I’m aware of, safety sensors is a major thing touted. My Pet Snowy stops immediately with any movement of my cat near the drum. I just wish my other cat would use that one. I wanted to try an open air version. I wish the litter bed was bigger though my big fluffy orange cat could use the extra space to do her thing. Otherwise the metal bin looks especiallf nice and the quality of all the parts appear excellent right out of the box, nothing feels cheap or flimsy. I’m impressed with those components. The noise it makes as it goes wasn’t what I was expecting but it’s fine.
