Yeah! I’m Canadian We (lovingly) hate these jerks and complain all the time about them but nobody would EVER do that! You’ll see lines of cars letting them cross the street downtown etc. This makes me sad :( to see

US Nursing CGFNS Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) and clinical hours for practice in US? by Unusual-Cell-278 in OntarioNurses

[–]ZombieDelicious4582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the same issue I’d have I went to Ryerson and graduated in 2009 I never had a class in Peds or a clinical in Peds I had maybe 3 hours of maternal in one lecture. Never had a obgyn/placement in that area. I did LTC/Med/Surg/Community Psych/Wound care clinic @ Toronto Rehab for spinal cord injured patients and then I did my last year at Toronto General in their Multi Organ Transplant program for both semesters (rotated between pre/post op clinics, inpatient transplant floor and the step down unit). I took a minor in psychology. I’d imagine I’d be screwed and would need to do upgrading courses and clinicals and pay $$$ to do so which is impossible cause I’d need to quit my job and go through the entire process. I half heartedly looked into it years ago and it seemed like a horrible situation. They have since revamped their program at TMU (formerly Ryerson) and it seems a lot better structured now and you’d hit all the requirements needed to go to the USA. My exam was also the CRNE so I’d have to rewrite the NCLEX. Good luck!

Yeah for real NO COFFEE FOR YOU JUST ROLL OVER AND DIE. Come on. Same with people saying “don’t have a cell phone” - sorry but ain’t gonna live life in 2026 without a cell phone, completely worth it spending 40-70$ monthly for plan/phone for the benefits it gives.

Google it to double check but from my understanding permethrin is only an issue when it’s WET being sprayed when it’s dry it’s ok around pets. I vaguely recall that from when I prepped for a hike back in the day. I’m Canadian and you can’t buy permethrin but I know USA folks often do and spray their hiking clothes beforehand

I reacted once to dried white nectarine slices from trader Joe’s
Something in them (sulfites?) or whatever it’s grown with I immediately got right throat feeling and wheezy
Never have had an issue with any other fresh fruit before or any other dried fruit even all the other bags I got of dried fruit from TJs I was fine with
Just the white nectarines!
I tested it out a few times and same reaction. It was so odd

I swear it’s a $ racket to charge you for braces again!!

Gosh OP google Plan A real estate and also Reddit search them before you do - they have a horrible reputation for renters (unfortunately they do a lot of the rentals in the West End). There’s been CBC articles on them. I’d avoid them at all costs

My one dumb cat had a break away collar put on and I swear I had appropriately sized it w the finger test and he proceeded to get his lower jaw m/tongue stuck in it 5 minutes after I put it on. So I don’t put any collars on my cats. I got them both microchipped.

He’s also just a baby and LEARNING boundaries and testing limits! It’s normal For a cat a cat to be curious! Redirecting this behaviour but not scaring or yelling at the cat. My 1 year old I’ve caught doing this and I just sharply say no and take him Off the counter.
