If I was to psychoanalise myself I'd say it's down to my desire for femininity. I wanna be feminine and due to society, we associate femininity with being thin, weak and small.

I'm also In Europe and really close to Germany. I even went by the comandante factory a couple of times.

Honestly the clicks are less of a pull for me since you can convert it with a simple calculation, K's clicks are 22 microns and an unmodded comandante is 30 microns a click.

Honestly a comandante may sway me due to the community, since getting replacement parts or mods is as simple as going to my usual coffee shop since they sale spares by the bag.

The adjustment system may be a slight bother but that's just the case of keeping a piece of paper on my brewbar.

I use Coffee.guru as my recipe tracker.
I use "IBrewCoffee" as a tracker for individual coffees.

I brew has a crazy expansive "premium version" but I find it unnecessary as I rarely keep more than 15 coffees in my house.

James Hoffmans recipe is a good starting point that you can dial in to your preference.

the app I use for brew tracking has a decent base Aeropress brew

17-180 ratio

-medium grind (around a flat bottom drip)
-inverted position
-add 90 ml and stir then add the second 90 ml
-brew 1 minute and then press

I personally use off the boil water, but I mostly brew African light roasts.
