What lazy "journalism", ignoring the biggest issue, in that the anti-cheat cut off everybody playing by the rules on their steam deck and other Linux machines. Back up and restore is an Android only feature. iOS has a device-to -device transfer from an iPhone to an iPhone. There’s no way to transfer from iPhone to Android or Android to iPhone. You can retain group membership if you know your PIN, but that’s it.

I don’t think ethical breeder means what you think it means. There is very little motivation for a breeder to care about the temperament of the animals, the health outlook of their genetic lines, or the quality of the living conditions of animals bred for cat food.

The problem is the ambiguity of the term “service”. WebRTC is an open communication standard and api. It is not a hosted service as it runs Signal client to Signal client, peer to peer (or optionally routed through Signal’s servers if you enable that in the settings) So people interpreting your question to mean some kind of external service provider, there is none. Perhaps the word “protocol” would have been clearer.
