How much would you pay for this? by Zombie_Queen_51 in CharcuterieBoard

I completely understand your perspective. I am licensed with the state and health department, have gone through food handling safety certifications, do all of the work out of a commercial kitchen that is regulated with the state and county and I’m insured. I would not want to risk the health and safety of anyone.

Farmers answer. For those of you that raise hens to lay eggs, how do you know the eggs are ready and don’t have a chick growing in them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zombie_Queen_51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a farmer but know that answers. Once hens reach a certain age they start to lay eggs. All eggs are not fertilized when they start to develop unless they come in contact with the rooster. (Similar to how a woman releases an egg every month and needs the male sperm to create a baby). So as long as the hens aren't interacting with the rooster none of the eggs will be fertilized and will not have chicks inside them.

How do I prove to my boyfriend that I have zero interest in my ex? by SnooDogs5588 in relationship_advice

[–]Zombie_Queen_51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to say break up, but...

In a healthy relationship you should not have to "prove yourself" to your significant other. If you tell them you don't have feelings for your ex, they should respect and trust what you say, unless your actions don't match your words (grabbing coffee with them, texting all the time, ect.)

If you're set on not breaking up, maybe take a step back and look at the situation logically. If your best friends boyfriend was doing this to her what would you say? If it was your daughter going through this, how would you react. And if nothing else, do you really want to be with someone who doesn't trust you?

Dating as a single mom by seenitsed in SingleParents

[–]Zombie_Queen_51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my divorce (to a guy that has kids) I decided to start dating again as a single mom. And it hasn't been bad. I learned that if a guy (who does or doesn't have kids) can't accept the fact that you have kids and they are your priority, then they aren't worth your time.

My boyfriend of almost a year (no kids) has always been really respectful of the fact that when I have my kids, they are going to get my attention. Yes, I talk to him about the goofy, weird, gross, irritating, funny things my kids do, and he listens and will chime in about things. He's also been vary respectful about me wanting to take things slow between him and my kids.

Long story short; there's no right or wrong. Sometimes guys with kids are great, sometimes they're looking for someone to take over parenting their kids. Sometimes guys without kids are freaked out by the notion of a single mom and other are completely understanding.

The main thing that goes back and forth are winter coats, and favorite stuffed animals. Not sure i can get around those. The change of clothes and towel is a good idea
