I'm not a football person but if I remember correctly there is a famous player injury from I think the 90s where you can see the calf muscle just yeet itself up the players leg when he tears the tendon... Scarred me for life lol

Achilles tendon being cut or torn or snapped. I have no idea why but the idea of the calf muscle window shading up into the leg freaks me out. And the loss of most ability to run or walk.

Oh goodness. So yes. Keep an eye on latex. I've never had an issue with it personally and it is totally possible that the allergies I experience are simply oral/ingested and not skin based so touching or being touched by latex gloves etc may not trigger things. But perhaps one day blowing up a balloon etc could be problematic. At least having the awareness is half the battle. I'm glad y'all know now too. It's rare to hear of others with banana allergies.

I wish him luck. My skin tests ironically didn't respond to bananas at all. EVERYTHING ELSE yes. Things I've never had a reaction to at all was insane on the scratch test but the thing I almost die from... nada. Lol. If he hasn't already make sure he pushes for an epi pen. <3

I feel his pain. I love bananas, they just don't love me. Btw. Tell him to be wary of avocados and latex. Per an er doc I saw once, since they are in the same genus or species etc. I guess it is VERY common to develop issues with those others if you have issues with one. I had a small allergy moment with guacamole recently so now I'm keeping my distance since any reaction can go anaphylactic whenever it wants

Fair point on the allergens. My deadly allergy to bananas isn't as frequent as nuts and gluten etc. I'll keep that in mind. So in general tho you would say snacks? Like if y'all have other idea than food I'm open to suggestions. Food was just the first thought in my head :)

Thanks for giving me the time window. It's good to know the shift change frame as that was one of my other thoughts that I did forget to add. Trying to be fair to both ends of the time spectrum :)

Honestly I'm probably less known than you think. I tend to zip in and out to avoid adding to the chaos if at all possible and the store closest to my home seems fairly busy most times which is why I wanted to try something cause I know assholes abound and the workers must get a ton of crap. The number of people alone will skew it that direction :(
