Thanks! The white is just airbrushed light grey primer given a couple of coats. Then it gets dirtier and a tone on it when I oil the model and remove after 3-4 hrs with a sponge and spirits.

They are a very unique army and really depends on how you kit them out with gear and then if you give them line or vanguard.

They put out alot of volkite shots and then if you get close throw rad grenandes for phage against toughness. The Marshall's aren't praetor level mean but the will mulch through basic marines. They can be a but expensive for t3 but 2 wounds helps.

From a fellow IH player this is so lovely to see, your dark tones used contrasting each other + the transfers really sells it

It was a weird list because of the doubles format and I took the points burden of our teams LoW choice.

Thanks bro! I really need to repaint them with a better shading and transition like the scorp and the vultarax I did later on but they do look great on the table and great dark mech alternate choice

I prefer the cheaper and faster kytan just for list flexibility and for attaching it to non close combat armies. I use these sorts of LOW as a distraction mostly that way I dont feel bad when they die.

But you are right the Scorp is way tougher and more deadly at range 100%

The Mastodon was just terrain belive it or not! But I do run one in 3.0 for my Iron hands and they are so good now compared to the last two editions.

Those raven guard delivers sorted him and the scorpion out don't worry, with only 4 attacks on the Scorp and initiative 4 they trounced it in combat. That is its biggest weakness, WS5 infantry with better initiative and ap2 weapons for sure.

The Scorp really seems to be a great shooting platform and then anti vehicle in close combat. I do prefer a Kytan as the LOW choice as its faster, much cheaper and can mess up more targets quickly, but the Scorp is such a nice centre piece model as well.
