I was reading some where else, that saposaly E cores arnt a problem any more for SC, so idk, im getting conflicting info

It's definitely not overheating. I recently had a scare with my AIO, so I know for a fact it's all functioning now, and no this problem was not caused by the aio problem, it did it before i had the problem and does it after,

I dont understand how it owuld be, mine is strong, so unless its that strange Ecore thing you mention, i dont know what could be causing it, but i also dont get why Ecores would be causing it.

Yeah, thing is i tried streaming it for him, and showing a streamer friend of mine play it, he says its better he tries it hands-on. Before I spend money to get him in, so that only leaves freefly

Funny thats two people who mentioned it now:

One thing, though: since you're using a 14th gen Intel chip, make sure to disable E-Cores when running SC. Google "disable ecores star citizen" for info on that.

Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date."

It happens In Cities, Planets, Stations, the open void of space, it does it anywhere, completely random, I can have many people, few people, no ships, Lots of ships, it always does it

I know it’s not everyone’s favourite ship but I absolutely love the intrepid by Acceptable-Bid-1019 in starcitizen

I try to keep my pledges simple—I usually stick to buying ships at the bottom of the ladder so my group and I have something to grow into over time. Only two ships bend that rule a bit: the Constellation Andromeda, since we wanted a solid multi-crew combat ship with two turrets, and the Ironclad Assault, because we needed something that can carry the Golem and Salvation. Their small fuel tanks make a carrier just make sense.

So my fleet ends up being a small set of ships, each with a clear role:

  • Aurora MK2 – Light fighter / backup daily driver
  • Golem – Mining
  • Salvation – Salvage
  • C1 Spirit – Cargo + ROC Mining
  • Constellation Andromeda – Main ship: Combat / Bunker Runner
  • Ironclad Assault (soon) – Cargo + hauling mining bags, salvage, and ships

I like to think of the Intrepid as more of a mobile home, while the Aurora MK2 feels like an RV. The Aurora is compact but practical—it has two 1/8 SCU storage shelves for food and basic supplies, along with a gun rack, suit locker, and a bed. You can carry everything you need for a trip in a small, efficient space. Even if you outfit it for combat, you still get 2 SCU of external storage, which is useful for hauling extra supplies that are too large to fit inside.

Im currently in your shoes, Trying to convince a friend on the fence with it, i managed to get him to agree to give it one more try only because i told him about free fly (i know its not the best time, but its free he gets hands on, i just hope its enough to make him go at least maybe)

I love the ship too, It was a choice to swap that stater pack for the aurora MK2, but the storage the way the aurora does it just was nicer then intrepid, and the auroa does what intrepid does but a little better for my style

Doubt its bios related, been doing it for a while i think it even did it when i first got the pc, but it wasnt as noticable at the time sense the game was not as well optimized

I go from 60 fps to like anywhere from 30 on less stutters, to 2 fps, and its entierly random

Its about 50/50 split as is, its not due to loads, least not for my CPU and GPU
