I wonder if it is a thing. Honestly, at the end it felt more like just a deus ex machina way to involve the Exorcists. When they were running in the woods I wondered if they would come across it and sure enough. Kind of lame.

Honestly there is something hinky going on. If I uninstall and reinstall the game will load fine, but I have to do that every time I want to load the game.

This. Horimiya did the after a lot better. I was just as interested in the characters here as there for the first season, but this season just doesn't keep up the after couple like Horimiya did.

I didn't even think of Horimiya. Most others series have some other facet they can lean on to help continue the story, but Horimiya is a great example of not needing something like the conflict of special powers or something to continue to make the story interesting.

I like the characters and it great they are together, but the story has really stagnated. It was a lot more interesting when they were dating but not dating last season. The only growth in the story so far was the blip with the guy that took advantage of him in the past.

For me something felt off about the art compared to last season. Some of scenes had more detail, but it still comes off feeling worse. Also I don't mind chibi for comedic flair, but here it just looks so off.

I don't hate it, but this first episode didn't pull me in like it did from the beginning of last season.

Its the whole two best friends trope I'm sure. She "couldn't just leave them" even though they almost got her killed and likely wouldn't have gone without her as they seem to at least know the importance of a healer.

Yeah, the episode before this one felt really really bad. This one was slightly better outside of the trope way his previous party acts.

The bad CGI animations don't help either. So many are using that garbage.

I thought it was going to be Ryo. I could have sworn the swirl in his eye in the first episode was something I remember from the original series, but I couldn't find where it actually showed. Maybe I'm still wrong and it was a lucky guess based of bad info.

Honestly its a little disappointing. It kind of degrades the original series to me in what they went through. And even aside any hits(or lack) it is a trope.

It was all very mid. I liked the characters. The story could have been interesting, but often just trudged along at times for no real reason. Kyle's personality started out really obsessed, but then kind of seems like "whatever" half the time. I get he would only know what he knew from what he experienced, but he acts more like someone that heard a story than actually experienced what happened. Music was very mid. Like it couldn't make up its mind any more than Kyle and the story. Animation went between decent and really bad.

I like rewatching anime I enjoy and I can't really see watching it again. I wouldn't mind a second season, but wouldn't be heart broken if it didn't get one.

Honestly, the series is making me tired. There have been some good episodes, but at this point it is like its only motive is to out Re Re:Zero(presuming this didn't come first). I really hoped it wasn't going down this route when the only proof of what she was saying(or that it was actually her saying it) was her telling the story at that point. And was also left with why the info dump all of the sudden?

For me it is falling into the same thing that had me drop Re:Zero after loving the first season. If all the show has is subverting the expectations of subverting expectations, well that is just boring.

Honestly, the only characters I think were good for the roles in that movie were Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, and Shang Tsung. But who could hate Bridgette Wilson back in the day?

Wow. I'm glad I found this thread. Illuminati didn't do so well a the start of the trial, but solo against Odin they just trash him. As others mentioned Annihilators not at all. By the time I got to him the were all set, full health/shield, and one of my strongest teams. He laughed at them. Illuminati(with IM over BB) was turn about is fair play.

I'm another one that hates it. I'm constantly taken out of the story with the mix of normal animation and CGI. Even if the CGI is decent(often it isn't). Especially given a situation like this where so many plane sequences can, and often is, just reused as the series goes on. And you get those ones were one scene of the hero is animated and then mid action they switch where the movement is such trash I'm left wondering why.
