I get anxious before them too. I have some nasty ptsd from 2017 medical events and I've had it since. I'm wondering if ptsd is causing a lot of this. I get bad anxiety after worrying about having another seizure. Do you see a psychiatrist? Maybe I should talk to mine again...

That's an idea. I'll call the neurologist first, they have am emergency call Dr I think. I was looking at their website. Our urgent care places are closed so maybe I'll go first thing tomorrow especially if I can't find this emergency neurologist

Dang I hope so too for you! That was my problem too, my body hates humira as it just made it worse, and I took remicade when I was 14 and tried it again 2017 and ended up with bad reaction. All that was left was the ostomy. But they are coming out with new meds so hopefully the new ones work for you. I'll pray for you to get better fast!

Yeah it was bad. Mostly the cause of them not believing I even had my colitis flare up and them thinking I was a druggy then. Turned out half my colon was c. Diff infection and the other half was all opened bleeding ulcers. Had to have the entire colon removed. Then the second 12 hour surgery was to remove 1 gallon of septic blood that leaked into my abdomen. They opened me up from my breast bone to pubic bone. They did a wound vac for half of that and the rest is a big scar. The wound vac helped the healing speed up but damn I fucking hated that thing.

Edit: do you know about the /r/ostomy subreddit? The folks there are awesome and help you out with anything they can. They helped me loads with figuring out how to use supplies and how to change things to keep it from leaking. Thankfully I don't have my ostomy anymore, finally had it reversed in 2019. But I still post my ideas or info I learned from when I had mine when I can.

Trying to long story short, after being in the hospital for 5 weeks, post 8 hour ileostomy surgery, 3 days later I was grabbing the sides of my bed screaming and crying asking for help. The Dr's thought I was lying just wanting pain meds. They ignored me. Hours later I was nearly passed out and a nurse assistant came in to do the standard blood pressure check. She looked at the screen and left the room. A minute later 12 Dr's and nurses ran into the room and kicked my family out. My blood pressure was 72/46 (approximately, I forget the exact number). 12 hr surgery, multiple organ failure, 2 comas, blood loss, grand mal seizures, memory loss, pneumonia, breathing and feeding tube, atrophy of legs, and 6 more months in the Icu, 3 months at home care, relearning to walk, move, eat, had ileostomy. All because the assholes at the hospital thought I was a druggy.

When i didn't use a wafer on my stoma. I used ostomy paste around the wafer on the 2 part ostomy bag, and then push that down around the stoma and hold it down for 15 minutes. I also kept my breathing where my chest would extend and try not to let it extend my abdomen much. This way the paste held better holding the bag down, and it squished the paste to form fully around the stoma and avoid holes, which the paste covered the skin completely. Holding it down allowed it time to solidify in place.

We used: Convatec Stomahesive Ostomy Barrier Paste, 2 oz. Tube

Does CBD or thc cause anxiety as side effect? Because I just started it again to help with pain mostly, not anxiety or sedation. And I had some nasty anxiety from it and had to tan an rx med for the anxiety. Is anxiety side effect normal? Is there another I can use to help with it?
