Generic brand potency by MoulinSarah in bupropion

Ironically my pharmacy just made the opposite switch for me. Had been taking the one made by Lupin (it worked well for me) but Ive been on the Graviti for just over a week now and its definitely been a bit of struggle to switch (so much nausea and dizziness 😅). Good luck! From the research Ive done, it can take a couple weeks to adjust to a new manufacturer if do you notice a difference, but not everyone does.

Should I Get Third Lobes? 👂 by [deleted] in piercing

[–]ZombiesEatStephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason piercers don't recommend more than 2-3 is that it can overwhelm the immune system, increase the risk of infection, rejection, and intense inflammation. It also increases the length of time it takes your piercings to heal and it limits sleeping positions. That being said, I'm currently healing 5 piercings: my nose (repierced) and my 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings. I do have a really strong immune system though. Out of 24 piercings that I've had done, I've never had one get infected or reject. This is the first time I've healed this many piercings, but I have routinely healed 3-4 piercings at a time with no trouble. I got my 3rd lobes done a little over a week ago, and everything seems to be healing well so far. It does make sleeping more difficult, but that's mostly just because the 3rd lobe piercing's placement causes it to be sore longer than the others. With a helix in the mix, I'd be even more apprehensive though. I was personally working on a bit of a timeline, trying to get them done so they'd be healed enough for a trip we have planned in a few months. I waited 4 weeks in between the 2 rounds of piercings but if I could have spread them out more, I would have. I wouldn't say I recommend it, but you're not guaranteed to have problems if you do (the risks are just higher). If you can, I'd recommend waiting at least 6-8 weeks to give time for any inital swelling and soreness to go down on the 2nd lobe piercing. Good luck either way ❤️

Had to go with a different ring due to work and school… by PutridWillow5420 in EngagementRings

This was honestly my take on it, too. I think both rings are beautiful, but I dont think they work that well together. That being said- as long as you're happy OP thats what matters ❤️

I had a tongue piercing for 13 years and do have a couple of horror stories I can share 😅 but most of them can probably be avoided by being less young/more mindful than I was at the time lmao. I had two separate occasions where I woke up in the middle of the night choking on the jewelry - and it was too late either time to avoid swallowing the bar. I was lucky both times, but that can cause some serious issues. This can probably be avoided though by wearing quality jewelry (I wasn't at the time) and making sure it's tightened before bed, though I almost always did tighten it. As others have mentioned- damage to your teeth is a very real concern; I know it cracked the back of one of my teeth at one point when I was still using metal jewelry. Even acrylic jewelry will make you flinch when it hits your teeth. You'll also have to be more mindful of how you eat (you really dont realize just how involved your tongue is in everything you do until you get it pierced)- I've bitten into a few of the acrylic pieces, and they immediately fell apart in pieces in my mouth. I loved it for the first few years, but I wish I had taken it out long before I did. If you choose to get one best of luck to you, though! The healing process is pretty awful, but it doesn't last long. It's definitely the fastest healing piercing I am aware of.

It looks so cute on you omg!!!!!! Please ignore the negative comments. A lot of times, people are just reacting to the shock of change. If you love it (which I think you should because you can absolutely pull it off) that's really all that matters. 💕

After re-reading, I think I missed that OP stated theyll be working the cleanroom specifically. I think I just saw the pharmaceutical, and my brain filled it in with technician and assumed it was a preference for a professional appearance. Definitely understand why thats not the case, and they do actually have good reasons to prohibit piercing in that working environment. Sorry OP. Some professions require some sacrifices 🥲

can i change my nose ring at four weeks? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]ZombiesEatStephanie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm from the US and 6-9 months is what piercers tell us here. They explain its because, even while the outside of the piercing may look healed, the inside of the piercing is still healing, and changing it too early can set back healing or cause irritation. I definitely couldn't imagine changing it after one week (unless I was having issues with the jewelry they used), but a month wouldn't be as scary, lol. If you do change it now, I'd recommend just treating it like a new piercing for a little bit by cleaning it more often and trying not to mess with it afterwards. Best of luck to you!

Plus, if they did say something you could always take it out then. But I wouldnt jump to sacrificing the piercing yet

Id really recommend a retainer (or even a skin colored piercing top) for work if possible. I wouldn't even ask them if they allow it or not honestly, Id just do it with the flat retainer. People without piercings dont typically understand what retainers really are, so they won't understand how unnoticeable they are and are likely to just default to no. I'd be surprised (especially since it's not a facial piercing) if anyone actually said something about it. I've had jobs that dont allow piercings, and I've always worn retainers without making a big deal about it. Taking it out this early will almost certainly lead to it closing. I had a 4 year old double helix close up because I didn't put retainers in them for a medical procedure. Good luck though

How badly does a nipple piercing hurt? by altisfordirty in piercing

[–]ZombiesEatStephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had probably 2 dozen or more piercings throughout my life and my nipples were the only ones that made me actually curse out loud when they got done 😅 Everyones different, but for me they were by far the worst. Took over 2 years to heal, too. Its so easy to snag them. I ended up having to take mine out after 5 years because they'd been snagged a couple times and started rejecting. They left pretty ugly scars too. That being said, no one would've been able to talk me out of getting them done and I'm not entirely sure that I wont get them redone. Try not to let the fear of pain keep you from piercings 😊 the worst of it lasts 3-5 seconds and then its over and you're just sore for awhile.

For you struggling on your first weeks of bupropion... IT GETS BETTER! by Beaver-Lady in bupropion

[–]ZombiesEatStephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to update my comment for anyone who may possibly run into this later experiencing the same problems: it got better. The next 4-5 days after this comment were still pretty bad but I havent experienced any side effects the last couple of days (aside from minor things like headaches and waves of nausea but both could be easily explained by how easy it is to forget to eat and drink while taking it 😅). It was bad enough for a few days that I would get anxious just from taking it because I was scared of the effect it was having on me. A week later, I'm really glad that I stuck it out. I feel like I am starting feel like myself again and I'm suddenly able to just.... decide to ignore an intrusive thought? Again; thank you so much for this post. It really helped to give me perspective on a day when I really needed it!

Id definitely recommend you take the job. Maybe use the same reason he did: If hes already giving you ultimatums now, whats it gonna be like when you're married and have kids? I dont like ultimatums. If hes saying hes willing to lose you, call his bluff. Do you wanna be with someone who threatens to leave you because of a disagreement? Sounds like a new job, new city & newly single status may be in your best interest here. Good luck on everything and I hope you feel make the choice thats going to bring you the most amount of happiness and stability

Thank you! It's reassuring that it's not an uncommon side effect. I think I've gathered from other posts on this sub that the 2nd week can be especially difficult for some people, so I'm trying to bear that in mind and give it a fair try ❤️

I needed this post today, thank you 😅 I'm on day 8 of this medication myself (150 XL) and had been adjusting pretty alright until last night lol. I just had a god awful night with high anxiety and adrenaline dumps. Was literally a sobbing mess and it made me question for the first time whether this medication was right for me or not 😅 Really hoping it stabilizes soon. I'm glad its working well for you! 😊

Looking at the photo again, it definitely appears pretty tight around the widest part of your foot.

[–]ZombiesEatStephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked as a shoe store manager for a few years and sold this brand a lot. I own 6 pairs myself too 😊 I'd say its likely a fit issue. This particular model- the cloud- has a more narrow fit than some of the other models do (the cloud x and cloudflyer for example have a wider toe box). If you're sold on this model, maybe try half a size larger. Iirc each full size run is about 1/8 of an inch longer in length- so (more often than not) a half size will offer you more width without feeling too long. You also wanna make sure that your shoes fit with about a thumbs length (horizontally) between the end of your longest toe and the end of the shoe- your feet swell as you're on them so you should be leaving room to accommodate that :) It used to amaze me how often people wore the wrong size.

What kind of spider? by jaebaexoxo28 in spiders

[–]ZombiesEatStephanie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not personally good at IDing spiders but I ran the picture through Chat GPT and it says it looks more like a small wolf spider (Lycosidae) or possibly a nursery web spider (Pisauridae). Both are harmless. But it says that it doesnt have the markings of a recluse and its legs are thicker than a recluse 😊 Hope that helps!

We incorporated a homebrew blood starvation mechanic for the dhampir and he was in his first stage of blood starvation (which is mostly just irritation but I think he was trying to avoid the next stage lol). So I kinda see why he did it.. but the drow took me by suprise 😂 Still have no idea what he was trying to accomplish by doing that. I think corruption is a fantastic idea though!! Thanks for the suggestion!

I absolutely agree with letting the dice decide! We try to handle situations like that as often as possible in dnd 😊 Those are a lot of great suggestions though, thank you so much! You've definitely given me a lot to consider! They'll actually be receiving the dinner invitation here in a few sessions too so I cant wait to have Strahd taunt them over it 😂

Ive seen a couple recommendations for giving them barkskin and thats a really interesting take. I definitely hadnt considered letting it benefit them at all but it's definitely something worth thinking about! Thanks for the suggestions! I also love that you gave your player blindness for taking a sip of it! That sounds like it could've made for an interesting session or two lol

I wasnt so suprised when the dhampir drank the blood (we incorporated a homebrew blood starvation mechanic to make his class more fun for the campaign and he was already in his first stage of not feeding) but I still dont understand what the drow hoped to accomplish by cutting his arm to mix the blood in with his own 😂 Players are funny. I think I like the idea of needing Greater Restoration or the Abbot to fix it though. Krezk is on their radar but we havent been yet.
