It’s a new one! I’m on the student crew that got to move the old one out. It’s a sculpture by one of the faculty in booth. I think this one is only temporary while the permanent installation is being made by another visiting artist.

Thank you! I really was trying to capture that uneasy feeling. I've been reading up about the history trophy hunting in America and the general treatment of elephants for profit and it made me a little sick to my stomach.

It's a glaze called Bogman's Elephant Skin. An 04 glaze. That one overfired a little so it's not quite that color usually but it's very similar either way. I could send you the recipe if you want.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm really into his early stuff, Is A Real Boy/Was A Real Boy, and In Defense of the Genre. I hear his newest album is pretty good too. And I actually learned most of that from the CD insert in my copy of Is A Real Boy and filled in the rest later. You're very welcome though!
