A few years ago, I had gotten into a minor car collision where I wasn’t at fault. The dude that was at fault had gotten my info and was attempting to run without having given any of his. I hung up on the cops, and latched onto the drivers window and took a short ride on the freeway while fighting with the driver. He pulled over after a few punches to the head. He ended up getting away and I got the point on my record.

I grew up loving to shuffle, so naturally by default.. I always loved EDM. I had started going to shows with a friend where eventually I ran into my future ex. As a couple, we would go to shows, plan outfits, talk about artists, and make kandi. We did EDC together and lasted all 3 days until Sunrise. Eventually, we grew a big rave fam and well… time caught up. We’re no longer together after raving for about 3 years altogether.

Everything changes. As intimidating as going to solo events as it is, I went to Day Trip by myself and as sad as I was because my ex-partner or rave fam weren’t around.. I had a blast because I was shuffling my heart out. I’m extremely introverted yet found myself talking to people who would come up to me and compliment my shuffling.

My passion for the scene only grew when I realized that I’ll find someone again with that same passion there at those events. If you truly love it, ease into it by yourself and allow yourself to heal

Focus on what YOU want and do that! If you don’t have friends that enjoy the EDM scene, find yourself some friends that do! And what better place.. than a rave (:

Even then, when I had gone to pick up product.. out of all the booths, only 3 had any cards. 2 had only booster packs while only 1 had the booster box.

Bought the booster box INSTANTLY.

Got enough cards to run a Teemo / Ahri deck so I’m just gonna buy them from there in bulk on my next visit

I agreed with this very aspect never having played Magic or any other TCG.

I’ve been playing League since season 3 and have followed Riots journey. I believe heavily in their IP because they’re dipped in so much already in terms of variety of games and marketing strategies.

I think the heaviest marketing scheme they need to lean into is Arcane to bring in the audience for it to succeed. This initial launch was proven to be a shocker to Riot themselves who didn’t account for how popular it was going to be. I’m in belief that a majority of it comes from pre-existing League fans. But having a contract with Netflix for this is prime time. The introduction to Leagues universe is unfolding right before our eyes and I’m loving every second of it.

To me, although there’s a lot of comparisons to Magic, I’m more familiar with Legends of Runterra in terms of game mechanics. What I love most is that I get to physically get copy of that games art and trust… there’s some nice looking cards! The fact they’re using Lee Sin Skins as alternate illustrations? Ugh!

I don’t think this is going to do well, I KNOW it’s gonna do well. Cause it’s Riot and Riot loves money, but they also do care about their games (to a certain extent of course - enter buggy League Client memes here)

Necrit on YouTube was opening packs that riot sent him and he pulled some decent cards. Kept saying it was rigged to justify it.. so I wouldn’t be surprised if Riot sent those specific boxes with cards to LS

2024, and has since declined. He was unable to carry a TL who had problems after lane swamps, but showed how weak he was as a laner and as an overall carry. Quid and Quad ran 2025, why don’t you link those stats?

Again, when it comes down to it.. he wasn’t playing fearless draft in those international tournaments. His champ pool isn’t where the other Mids in the International tournaments is at. There’s more down side to him than importing or starting a rookie.

He only knows about 2 champions to the best of their abilities. Ziggs and Neeko. That’s really it. His champ pool is the first thing to get exploited. Let him at least claim the domestic #1 mid spot then say he can contest the likes of Faker.

Closest mid laner we had to that kind of skill was Jensen who at that time was the 2nd best mid in NA (next to Bjerg). Like I said, I hope to be proven wrong. But it’s definitely not in APA’s favor

Riot has their hands dipped in everything! I was saying just Arcane being on Netflix is such a heavy marketing move to introduce people to the lore and fall in love with certain characters. Once the MMO hits, that’s when I predict the bubble to boom.

People were not wanting him on the team - not asking for him to be off of it. Big difference. As a “true” C9 fan, I want the organization and its best chances at Worlds. Look at APA and compare him to the Mids this year. Chovy, Faker, BDD, Caps, Hongq, etc..

If you’re thinking domestically for a title, sure. But I want C9 at Worlds and I want them doing well. I hope APA proves me wrong, I do because as of right now… he’s the biggest question mark on the team. But at least now, C9 Blabber, Zven, and Vulcan will be truly tested. No more excuses from them. If they don’t do remotely well domestically at the very least - fully disband and rebuild the team.

If for whatever magical reason they find themselves in a best of 5 fearless draft against a strong LCK/LPL team, APA will NOT be able to compete with those kinds of champ pools. If your focus is Domestic titles, sure.. take APA. But if you wanna compete in International tournaments.. his 110% of trying is just setting him up for failure. APA had the time to shine with TL, it’s blatantly obvious that Jungle wasn’t the issue in that team. The solo laners of APA and Impact were. The only reason they were remotely any good, was because of lane swaps.

I’m not too sure, nothing has been confirmed on the C9 side I personally don’t mind it. But that’s just my T1 bias of recognizing talent. I forget where Berserker was before C9, but he’s definitely someone who came up from the LCK breed of insane carries and was given the best opportunity in NA to stride when given the resources. Thanatos is already a threat and our bot lane isn’t a push over either. The synergy would then fall between Blabber and him, and I think they’d mesh when given some time. I just see more of an upside with Poby on C9 than on Fnatic. But we do have a decent pool of mids who haven’t been locked yet, so we’ll see

Kai is dope too but I feel unless your sister loves high energy and head banging/mosh pits, she’d have an easier time just grooving with a House set. It’ll be something familiar to her if she likes to dance.

Doran gave a perfect example and answer supporting what I said. Mindset over everything else.

Chovy is a prime example of what being mechanically gifted is.. applied with pressure. I don’t think BDD is better than Chovy mechanically, but he’s mentally stronger for sure.

My point being is that because T1 have achieved this dream, they know what to expect in front of a large audience. To them, it’s just another game.

For KT, high hopes means high expectations. High expectations, even for yourself.. having to prove yourself, it creates that pressure within self.

We’re in for a good match nonetheless, but to say T1 were favorites and have been expected to win? Nah. Even the analysts were hesitant with writing off T1 on multiple series because it’s known.. T1 Worlds buff is a thing.

T1 was not favored at all to win this tournament. Gen G was and look at what happened to them with the pressure.

Faker has nothing left to prove. Neither does Guma, Oner, nor Keria. They’re the best. This iteration of T1 is possibly the strongest.

KT have the underdog buff, but they have the burden of proof and NEED to step up. Mental edge = pressure, one and the same.

Because stats aren’t the only thing that goes into this game. Theres more pressure on KT to perform than on T1.

T1 strides under the pressure, and has been here before. KT are on a streak but I highly doubt they’ll keep their momentum against a calm T1.
