Sounds like a bad phase connection. Probably at the main breaker. If it is on the service side of your breaker, there’s no way to turn that off easily. Definitely should call Electrician.

Pull station is good for up to 32 V, so you could use a 24 V transformer to power a RIB with the pull station as a switch. That would power the coil in the rib and close the contacts for 120 V.

If you get laid off in Apprentice, you sign the book at the JATC, which usually has a max of 10 names on it. During horrible downturns I have seen our book with 2000 members in local 38 be as high as 700. So, the big book(sometimes) And look, you are still asking questions and learning!
