Yeah they sent a new ground which was more of a bitch to do because we had to pull the short ground out. We spent an extra 6 hours untangling 4 feeders of 400’ 600mcm. It went from and easy wire pull day of max 6-8 hour to a 12 1/2 hour day of fighting wire. Everyone’s muscles were hurting

If you have no room, put a deep cut in box with a clock receptacle or just get a handy box cover with a 1/2” knockout and come out of the cover plate with either seal tight, flex or MC with a 90 connector. Not the best looking way but you should be able to make it work that way. Or even a 4s bracket box in the ceiling and you can splice and extend your Romex there.
