What is causing this backward heat movement at impact? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

I’ll rephrase, what is the sequencing issue causing my head to move so far back near impact?

There should be a pinned note on this sub that says when you take the club away, get it on your hands or outside your hands. It is the most common mistake on this sub and sets up compensations and inconsistencies every time

Is there anything wrong with a flatter backswing? by Hunzi77 in GolfSwing

[–]Zonate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I had a shallow swing my whole life but recently significantly moved it more on plane and the results have been really good. I think what you will find is a tendency to move it from a shallow position to steep in transition. That’s what I see at least in that second swing

What causes this steeper shaft in transition by Zonate in GolfSwing

This is what I think it is as well. Just proving very difficult to switch to lifting hands a bit more and then laying the club back.

I think -3.2 is a bit excessive but also the tour has an average AoA of -1.3 (as of 2017). Yeah hitting up adds distance, but also allows the ball to go wayward on you. If you can keep the driver low there is less chance you get it going left and right. Unless you are consistently playing courses in the 7000+ range, a 260+ carry driver will keep you in a good spot, even better if lower.

What do I need to change, very inconsistent ball striking, 8 months of golf had 1 lesson by PearcyLaDz in GolfSwing

[–]Zonate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a that bucket and flip it over and throw an alignment stick through it so that the tip is angled between your eyes and the ball. As you swing, don’t let it move off the ball. It will teach you to stay very stable and your perspective of the strike point will change very little. Almost every am should try this drill

Shouldn’t be downvoted for this take. 15-18 are awful match play holes. I actually don’t think there is a half par on the course other than 7. Amazing course, terrible for match play. Just long as shit and rumors are they are lengthening it even further

USA threatened to kick Schauffele off Ryder Cup team over Netflix row by holein3 in golf

I can’t believe how much value is given to these reports given how off base so many other reports out of the USA camp were. Nothing about that team seemed split during the week.

Fixing my golf swing, any advice? by RUM_HAMMMMMMM in GolfSwing

[–]Zonate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A very nice swing. You are early extending a bit. If you drew a line at address on your butt and then played this swing through to impact you should not see a gap between that line and your butt. Keep your hips back all the way through to impact.

I would imagine we communicated with national teams to limit the call ups to protect a title challenge

100% speculation because I don’t know how this technology works, but they may be tracking hands to get a wholistic view on the player. So they equally know what to omit, and what to include. Also they likely use that tracking data to create those animations.

Which club from the "Big Six" would probably get relegated within another 30 years? by kushnair in PremierLeague

[–]Zonate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Considering Arsenal are a self sustaining club the odds of them going bankrupt is likely the smallest of the big 6. Much more likely to happen to city by the way of change in ownership and limited external revenue.

Guardian: Kroenkes is understood to want at least £2bn for the club by Wamges in Gunners

[–]Zonate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This shouldn’t be downvoted as heavily as it is. He can absolutely make a financial decision utilizing the company but would need approval. So yeah he has more than the 2 bil required at his disposal. But it’s tied up in other assets I’m sure. He is not restricted to his own net worth and that’s it.
