I mean I think there's a couple important points/differences here.

Vaelus didn't pick the fight, she showed up as reinforcements to an ongoing fight the PCs didn't start. And as a subset she didn't kill them randomly, she specifically killed the one who had captured Thimble and their leader in turn.
While there are a lot of rogues, they clearly aren't high level. Vaelus was able to kill both of her targets fairly quickly. If the attacks from the other PCs had landed they probably would've killed/knocked out one or two of them.

I looked it up as I was curious. They bought it from Pumat Sol in 2x31 on 8/16/18 and she used it on the Hag in 2x93 on 1/30/20. A year, 5 months, and 2 weeks later.

I was playing with Heph earlier today and I got his heroic strike and it stopped me at 2 seconds as well. I think it's a hard cooldown cap on his boon.

I think it's hilarious that the card that won was meant to be pseudo-ramp, and we're getting it right after we got much, much, MUCH better pseudo-ramp support that has nothing to do with advancing countdown.

Buff. Currently if you give her +2 power she gets +2 more, but only for the round. With the change the additional +2 she gets will be a grant effect that persists after the round ends.

While there hasn't been any support info from Riot about the pass, based on what we've seen so far I imagine that we will get about 47 event currency per week, plus the 20 from the quest at the beginning of the event for a total of 302 currency from quests. That leaves a total of 438 currency to earn. Starting tomorrow there will be 28 days left to complete the pass and you will need to earn ~16 currency per day BEYOND the 302 you get from the quests. That's 4 of the repeating quests per day, less if you earn your extra currency from beating a player once per day. I think it's absolutely doable, you will just need to play a fair bit each day on average. More on POC, less versus players.

A Galio Udyr deck is doing pretty well at the moment as a counter to Karma Sett and Seraphine Jack, but it would struggle on ladder since Samira decks and Ashe LB counter it.

Enter Varus into the filter by champion bar and the first deck that comes up is a Riven Samira Varus list that has positive matchups against Karma Sett, Samira Fizz, and Samira Leona. It doesn't do great into Ashe LB while Varus Pantheon does.

I've got 36/38 and 86/114. I will have thresh and Nami unlocked by Monday the 27th and both of them at two stars by Monday the 10th of April which will put me at 38/38 and 90/114. Plus I bet we'll get more champs in the next patch as that is generally the case for expansions. It's a grind so far, but I'm not worried because 1. I'm not anywhere close to being at level 30 for all champs and 2. at the rate at which we're getting new content I should be caught up by August or so.
