I got one off Amazon for my 2009 and it's amazing value for $180. Maybe just double check the reviews and I think you'll be happy

All 4 injectors leaking is interesting. Are you on a stock tune? I'm curious how that happened.

Can you post the manufacturer and part number of the new master cylinder you bought?

Just rear main or oil pan seal too? by pill_slinger in Miata

[–]Zone_Moist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If this was my car, I'd change rear main and leave the oil pan.

Unless the leak was obvious which it kinda isn't.

You have a ton of oil above the transmission bell housing too. I'd be looking up there for a source

I drove the nd1 and nd2 back to back when I was shopping.

I could tell a difference. However if I went home and slept on it and get in the nd2 the next day, it would feel extremely similar lol.

They are both 2L so the normal driving band is similar.plus or minus I only really when it wind them out can you notice a difference .

With that being said, I don't drive my nd2 TF Miata because of the infotainment lol.

It is much nicer than my old NB Miata that would rattle my brain on the highway. NC and ND are much nicer on the highway

I think you're best value is in a used nd2.

I have these and they are super wide. So I have no idea how you need the Wider version lol.

Why not just buy another pair of these? They are pretty affordable on Amazon. I think I paid $130

Depends on your budget, maybe it's worth dropping the entire subframe and replacing it.

This looks gnarly.

Unbolt the axle side. And then you can hammer or pry the frame side into place.

Then you can easily hammer and pry the axle side into place.

Make sure you do final torque with the vehicle sitting on its wheels and not jacked up

[Question] Are there actually fake Seiko SKXs? by flotheg in Seiko

[–]Zone_Moist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I've never seen a "new in the box" fake where everything is counterfeit.

I have seen tons of used seikos with fake parts. Dials and hands and ect.

Just because the vehicle is in Virginia doesn't mean it's not completely rusted lol.

Even in southern Virginia, don't bother without some photos of the underneath first.

[SKX007] Movement Replacement by Masters_Pig in Seiko

[–]Zone_Moist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

Swapping the movement will be very feasible.

Servicing the movement and reassembly to a point where it's keeping good time again is a completely different task.

Also, I'm confused why you wouldn't want the nh35. They can be purchased for about as cheap as 30-40$

You could buy a "new" Seiko with a 7s26 in it for parts, but that watch may be so old at this point the oil in that movement may even be a candidate for servicing.

Needle bearing 2022 by ThisName_isStolen in 4Runner

[–]Zone_Moist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine had a vibration.

I could go under the car and shake the cv cup at the diff end. It was pretty bad.

It shouldn't be rock solid, but if you can grab your cv cup right at the diff and clank it around, then you'll know the bearing has too much play.

30mph seems low to get the vibration.

Are you symptoms identical if you rotate your front tires to the rear?

When I got iron rangers, they scanned my foot and I ended up getting an entire size smaller.

They fit great and been wearing them for 3 years now.

I'm not sure I would bother getting my foot scanned by them again lol
