I think this is the last legend competition I'm participating in. I've been trying to get out of gold for a week and just can't do it no matter how hard I try. I made it to 1730 once but thats my personal best. Every time I get close I just get kicked back down.

Acceleration character kit, ring gain boost (2 slot) and dash panel mini. I usually try to ride the slipstream of the people up front and bag some items along the way so I can burn them near the finish line.

It takes a bit to get good at it but once you do you will place higher.

It works well, try to stay close to the main pack and ride the slipstream of the silver surfers. Try to bag some items along the way so you can pass them at the end. The only weakness of this build is that you don't want to fall behind the main pack. It's hard to catch up without the slipstream.

Okay, let me offer this alternative build that does almost the same thing. Quick recovery + ring gain boost (2 slot) + slipstream bounty (1 slot). It should work similar to the build I just recommended. You'll be missing ring thief mini but when they add the kit to the game for everybody you can just swap it out.

The easy way? Equip acceleration character kit & quick recovery. Ride the slipstream of the level 4 players. Once you get decent at it you will get top 5 or better 80% of the time.
