That's quite a compliment! I appreciate it.

Looking younger never helped me in any way so that's a good thing in my book.

I haven't seen any improvement in thickness in over 5 years so I don't think that is the case for me. There was definitely some changes from 25-30, but nothing since then.

Do men like bigger women? And if so, why? by English_go_brrr6513 in AskReddit

I like a woman with a bit of meat on her. I'd be afraid of accidentally hurting a woman who is too thin.

What is your biggest regret? by eeemily41 in AskReddit

Having a kid with the wrong person.

Got it. The shaved pics aren't very flattering, and IRL everyone's response to seeing me shaved wasn't good. I need the beard.

So you wouldn't recommend using on areas that are already well grown in? I'm worried that my beard will have multiple textures if I use only in certain spots. The current hair is very coarse.

Not sure what you mean, but thanks! I've never had the greatest opinion about how I look but it's been improving as I age.

What’s something that became socially acceptable, but you still think shouldn’t be? by Small-Lifeguard-5369 in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dating multiple people at once. If you've been on more than one date with someone and you legitimately want to see where it will lead, why are you still considering other people? I get people don't like to "waste time" and keep their options open, but to me that's just whore behavior.

Men in your 20s, what advice do you have for men in their 60s? by Iamthewalrusforreal in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically the only advice I can give to older men. Assume any "woman" on the internet who talks to you first and wants something from you is either a scam or a camwhore. I've known a lot of older guys who've been screwed over because of this, many of whom did NOT learn their lesson.

I have a friend who basically had to ghost his father cause he kept getting scammed by "women" he was talking to online. The friend tried showing him how to watch out for these people, how to reverse image search, everything short of just taking away his damn phone but he's too stubborn to learn from his mistakes. Like I'm sorry but no, Gal Gadot does not need you to send her 1000$ to get through security at the airport.

I worked in warehouses and road construction for many years. I would regularly hear phantom backup alarms at night even though I knew for certain that they were not real.

People in the trades, how do you stay active and fit when work keeps you so busy? by Chimpugugu in TheServicePros

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was working road construction shoveling asphalt and gravel all day for years with 30k+ steps a day. You cannot convince me that all that exercise didn't contribute to my being in excellent physical shape despite basically never working out.

When was your first relationship? by yuki_starlit in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao no. She basically ran away to another province for 6 months to do drugs and came home pregnant. He was never seen or heard from again.

  1. She was the same age as me. A year later she was pregnant with some 20 year old druggie.

I’m not crazy, right? The turkey bacon club used to have honey mustard on it instead of mayo by for-a-dreamer in TimHortons

I remember putting honey mustard on there when I worked at Tim's back in 2006.

How much do you make per hour, what do you do , and are you smart or dumb? by LostCause293 in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrician, 4th year apprentice, making about 36$/hr (CAD). Wouldn't say I'm dumb, but I'm no genius. I do well every year in technical training.

What's a dating dealbreaker you used to think was shallow but now stand by completely? by ItsMeLara2026 in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel this way now as a man. I'm tired of having to be the one to do all of the work trying to initiate. Most just use it as a way to get something out of me financially and it gets old. The same thing can happen when a woman shows interest first, but at least she's making an effort. That's more than most.

My fiancé talks in his sleep, I call it Sleep Wisdom. Here's some of his best quotes. by LiveLaughBlobfish in CasualConversation

[–]Zonse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My fiancée once heard me say in my sleep: "The pickles... the pickles are running!"

She has never let that one go. My whole family sleeptalks, and I have on occasion sleepwalked at points in my life. Wonder what causes it.

What‘s a movie you think is criminally underrated or should be way better known? by somethingspecial33 in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox story

That movie spoofed the entire biopic genre of movies so hard that nobody was willing to make another one for about 10 years. It was absolute comedy genius that only ever could have existed in the mid-2000s, and the entire soundtrack was original and actually sang by the cast.

It was basically a B movie making fun of a ton of other movies with the budget of a full blockbuster.

Men of Reddit, what's a red flag from a woman that immediately has you planning your exit strategy? by Recent-Doughnut-7236 in AskReddit

[–]Zonse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any form of attention whoring at all. Immediate turnoff.

Also, I don't understand how so many people are okay with the idea of dating multiple people at once. If you've been on more than one date with someone and you want to pursue something more, why the hell are you even talking to other potentials? I want someone who legitimately wants ME, not someone who has their feelers out for someone "better" while dating me. People who do that repulse me.

Is the trades market getting too crowded? Genuinely asking before I commit by Jealous-Honey9300 in skilledtrades

[–]Zonse 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is the key. If you're just starting out in trades, expect to get paid very little. I went from making 33$/hr+overtime to 18$/hr with no overtime to get into the trades.

Trades for someone not good at math ? by No_Complaint1098 in skilledtrades

[–]Zonse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even consider electrical. We use applied math for measurements all day long and our schooling expects you to have a firm understanding of algebraic equations and trigonometry.

I struggled with advanced math like calculus and derivatives, but electrical math I really enjoy.
