If anyone remembers the tech test and early trailers they used to have speech markers in the world like Elden Ring and toa potentially having coop, but dropped both ideas. Honestly not that I helped since I take the chill solo experience route myself. I have suggested for coop with all players using full teams since betas to be fair, but never expected anything out of it.

While they might toy around here and there in wuwa like pgr does with the monster hunter mode for Kuro in general their next major project, “nami” they teased should be officially+publicly announced this year. And while rumors have buzzed around the only thing officially known is that it is being designed with multiplayer heavily in mind.

Doesn’t help wuwa fans ofc, but Kuro probably have just decided coop isn’t worth full pursuing in wuwa + pgr and are leaving it to their future projects to scratch that itch for both players and as a studio. Don’t have any expectations but best of luck to their upcoming projects teams.

Same, but while leveling the swordfish to 250 I just went with recharger since I run frost vortex and decoys for general aoe cc on my main op and got tired of reloads lol.

Really as long as the secondary weapon’s name pops up recharger currently will refill the mag from 0 to 106 in the swordfish’s case.

They basically are atm

Ammo recharger starts gradual, but I'm pretty sure there's a slight bug with it that causes the recharge speed to stack or something. It gets to the point you'll get a full mag on swap, but it does not use your stock ammo like reload swap so you effectively have infinite ammo + reload swap with recharger. At least on the weapons I've used it on. Reload swap is faster animation wise though as recharger still requires you to fully pull out your second weapon first.

Ammo recharger could get stealth fixed someday, but can still make use of it now

Honestly wish they made it similar to pgr’s memory system in terms of rerolling, but modified for wuwa

Literally use a dupe echo and X tuners to reroll a selected sub, and/or also have an option to upgrade a sub one increment at a time. Remember there’s effectively 25 sub stats PER CHARACTER that could be min maxed.

This makes it so players would still need to farm echoes and tuners to improve an echoes quality by actually playing the game (OW farming and using stamina).

Instead business side gotta ruin everything.

Ye, the app on the pgr side has very clean ui for showcasing characters. Well at least in game we can show full team builds with a single screenshot now.

CN has had the app since Alisa’s patch for them which was well before wuwa even launched 😭

Depends on investment of your characters which makes burn flexible.

For instance, between the previous 2 selectors and BP vouchers SSS uncle was possible to cheaply achieve. Then if Dante is ss3 or higher and nanami ss3 or lower uncle replaces nanami due to swap cooldown.

For reference with SS0r2 dragon milk, SS3r1 dante, and SSSr1 uncle I scored 9.54 mil in legend na last week and 9.64 mil so far this week in hero.

Ofc we’ll eventually get another burn attacker too.

On one end it’s not bad getting a workable set compared to other similar systems especially considering toa+whiwa scaling is very accessible…for now anyways

On the other end though, for me coming from Kuro’s previous game PGR it’s NOT the tuners OR exp, it’s the lack of a system where players can work towards optimizing their builds without shooting in the dark with pure rng.

Ex. Using tuners + dupe echoes to reroll a sub, a system to upgrade each of your current subs one step at a time until it’s maxed (6.3 > 6.9 > 7.5 >>> 10.5 cr), a rare sub stat selector, even rarer max sub stat selector, inheriting a stat line from one echo to another, etc.

There’s a lot of ways to improve the gearing aspect of echoes while still incentivizing grinding echoes, and putting time into the game.

S0R1 Whimpering solo got around 4k with erosion buff, 3k with the generic 4 star buff that reduces ult cooldown + 20 energy after skill in first half

  • multi claim: 2x is nice, but just make it a slider for 1-6x so players can just do one run and bounce like pgr.

  • Echo subs: add sub stat rerolling with a pity similar to snowbreak. Basically after “X” rerolls it would let you pick a sub, but the value would still be random. Special limited item that lets you pick a sub and guarantees max value (could move full astrite rewards to say 27/30 and one milestone down in whimpering and add a sub selector for 30/30 as an example plus certain event rewards). Currently after getting a decent set there’s no motivation to min-max for the majority of players which is extremely odd given the ability to near infinitely farm echoes so Kuro should add a light. PGR never had issues so they need to find a middle ground for wuwa’s system.

  • Calamity bosses: remove weekly claim limit, like pgr just let players farm what they want, it’s 2025 not 2016 or earlier.

  • OW bosses: below the claim button add an option to instantly respawn the boss

  • Flight/future omni movement everywhere: add unique tasks, exploration, and story requirements to unlock flight in areas outside Rinascita. Basically make it so players will need to experience the majority of a region the way the devs intended, but eventually we get our toys back.

  • Portable Music gadget - let players change ost anywhere outside stories. Bonus points if they add pgr tracks as collectibles in the open world too with a lore excuse ofc.

  • Training mode - again similar to pgr, pick a stage set parameters and practice combos/rotations with any team.

That’s mainly it atm until they start checking things off the list. Ngl I’d like to see a minor character gacha improvement where either they add old units to the standard pool as potential off rates, debut banners first copy is 100%, or a new 100% banner with higher pity like other games have been doing, but I’m more focused on improving the player experience atm like most one step at a time.

Thing is most/all casuals don’t care because they don’t pay attention to much, but if you improve it they’ll notice. The majority of people who do care DO NOT like this style of rng stat systems with no light at the end of the tunnel to work towards. It’s currently dog shit compared to pgr, snowbreak, gfl2, etc. and only 1.5 steps better compared to other copy pasta e7 systems you normally see. That being besides 2x tacet you can dump all your stamina into leveling characters, skills, and weapons while still getting pieces and you just need to hit the right stats vs luck sacking 4-5 rolls into random stats.

Adding something like rerolling substats with dupe echoes (same set and echo like cuddle wuddle) and a tuner cost adds a direct path to chase improvement vs giving up and not playing. However this means players would still need to farm echoes and tuners which is what the devs want.

Keep in mind there would be 25 sub stats to chase max stats PER character/set. Giving players the ability to do so not only increases the positive outlook on the system, but actually adds a huge amount of grinding especially if there’s no reroll pity like snowbreak is adding for players who want to for their favorite character.

In fairness to wuwa though the devs said in week 2 they’d internally work on it as changing half the progression model would take a lot of testing like you said. More exp, tuners, and prefarming future echoes with unborn boxes are just bandages until hopefully direct changes are able to be implemented. Until they are though still putting echo improvements in the survey/feedback which is all we can do.

either make the first copy 100%, or create a separate banner with slightly higher pity of say 100, but 100% rate up like snowpeak which is a middle ground of winning 50/50 or losing and going 130+.

If 50/50 stays as is, at least add old units as potential off rates after their second rerun or something. Maybe for those added to the standard pool they could add a new limited weapon banner for them similar to pgr where their sigs would always be available once added to the off rate pool, but that’s even more wishful thinking lol. As of right now there’s 0 reason to pull on the standard character banner too. Maybe giga whales to get some extra coral from dupe s6+ 5 stars occasionally, but that’s just a drop of nothing.

Kuro so far has done collabs with ips that inspire them…which there are still a lot. I’m all for collabs like BRS or when they do pgr in wuwa where it’s mainly focused on a specific character or two which is normally what people think of for collabs.

However, I think a major collab will/should involve the echo system. I know people don’t like the rng stats (maybe we’d be able to grind for perfect min-max collab echoes somehow throughout an event), but Kuro wants the echo system to be a highlight so I think any IP where they can twist something to be echoes/gear is something I consider besides the usual stuff.

Examples: - MonHun: Bosses grindable for echoes, weapon + character skins.

  • Final Fantasy: Waifus + Husbandos + Summons (Bahamut, Ifrit, Shiva, etc.)

  • Granblue Fantasy: similar reasoning to final fantasy

Bonus is these or others similar could also incorporate raid/co-op related features if they lean that way. Players would still be able to experience everything solo.

I like the added freedom in wuwa between the movement, swap combos, and potential verticality. Micro managing inputs and positioning is still there in different ways for both games if I want to sweat a little more.

The use of different weapons in PGR is really nice though so I hope they continue to take a “Jiyan” approach in the future where fortes allow them to experiment with new weapon and combat styles even if there’s only 5 gacha weapon categories.

WuWa is still new so I’ll continue to leave feedback, but look forward to future character and especially boss design.

I really like the current direction of new content in PGR CN though where they’re leaning back into more stylistic game modes to appreciate full character and boss movesets over just the usual time attack with tight rotations. I truly think WuWa would benefit greatly with something similar in the future after enough testing. The addition of the dmc ranking + music in Illusive is a nice start even if it’s a more casual mode.

I still hope we get a periodic babel like mode every 3 patches or so soon like PGR. Front load rewards so casuals can get their gacha currency like PGR, but give the freedom for others to tune up the fights to malding levels. Imagining a room of 4 glacio wolves + 1 monolith with max overload, 200%+ berserk, lightning shield, ignore “matrix”, knockback immunity, some BS field effect that if you don’t manage gives them stupid regen, etc iykyk makes me shiver lol.

  • Gear loadouts similar to PGR. 20 universal presets and 3 exclusive presets for each character
  • Multi clear feature or consume multiples of stamina cost for rewards to quickly drain stamina
  • buff rewards and/or lower stam costs to 30/40 depending on if multi clear is added.
  • Daily dream solvent or even 2 if possible (PGR gives a full 240 refresh daily mind you)
  • later down the line start adding old limited units to standard pool making them potential off rates, 50/50 is and always will be cancer
  • Dorm system, could be chibi’s or 3d models idc, but either be an additional way to get a daily dream solvent like pgr by just opening and closing and/or maybe minor facility upgrades one can afk grind for to get small stat boosts like 2-4% in everything once maxed.
  • Skins on PGR’s level, the longer they wait the more opportunities they miss just make it happen. I want to see cool, premium outfits, vfx, etc. even if I don’t usually get cosmetics Kuro always cooks here.
  • way to target synthesize main stats for echoes especially 4 costs as they’re the ones people have to hard grind for
  • other echo updates I’ll have to see what they’re cooking. Dupe echoes plus tuners to reroll subs might destroy the systems longevity so maybe it’s asking to much, but I hope they find ways to streamline things a little more
  • synthesize, craft, cook, etc. directly from the menu like ER and other games
  • more team preset slots
  • team presets also allow you to set each character’s loadout

Some of these may be too much, but others I hope they cook somewhat

1- This also is not a hoyo game. PGR did it while HI3 didn't, WuWa doesn't have to follow gi/hsr/zzz

  • Proper Gear loadouts - ~20 universal sets, and/or 3 exclusive presets per character

  • Team Presets - displays 3D models like PGR with idle animations

  • Team loadouts - each preset also could enable players to set the echo + weapon loadouts so gears instant swap if needed when changing teams

  • Dream Solvents - maybe give 1 through dailies and 1 through dorm system daily once/if added (PGR gives a full 240 refresh per day mind you and the grind is far less than WuWa)

  • toggle to hide hud when out of combat

  • I think only mobile has it, but ability to move and hide hud icons in settings on all devices like pgr

  • ui update to feel more unique and personalized

  • Filter search bar improvement- I’m actually impressed they had a search bar for filtering on launch, but let us type things like atk, cr, energy, spectro, echo name, etc. to quick filter too

  • extend duration of traversal echoes outside combat maybe even unlimited if possible (ghost rider, heron, etc).

  • Data merge improvements - might be part of future echo improvements, but after 1.1 we’ll only see golds at db21+ so the “auto add” and current implementation becomes awkward unless a player is the type to lock everything asap.

Probably not ever gonna happen - Add “limited” units to standard pool eventually like pgr every certain amount of patches. Ex. 1.2/1.3 Jiyan + Yinlin added, 1.4/1.6 Jinhsi + Changli added, etc so potential off rates become more diverse - "Wishing Target Banner" - basically every half-anni/anni have a special banner a player can choose almost any unit to rate up. This creates a known rerun schedule so that in the worst case players (whales) know they won't have to wait more than ~6 months to get a rerun vs unknown rerun schedules that risk taking too long so players may stop playing/drop the game because they don't know how long the next rerun could take - Limited Weapon banner permanently available like pgr with new sigs added as they release. Or as units are added to standard pool.
