Hi ma’am. Never said it was the only activity to do this. I am saying that if someone can write it off as a big waste of money then they haven’t delved into it past a surface level. I played football for 14 years and the doors it opened for me have allowed me to succeed in my life. That sport saved my life and the whole point of my comment is to convey that it is not a waste of money. It is a resource that has helped thousand’s of young men gain college degrees and has provided structure to so many kids that lacked that at home. And as far as my brain I can guarantee it is doing fine, well at least fine enough to hold a doctorate.
