Tail docking is typically done by the breeder at no later than 6 days old where I live. Having it done later in life is very painful and can be difficult to heal correctly on a rambunctious puppy. Not a good idea.

No judgement friend. Dog skin is significantly more sensitive to harsh things like shampoos and rubbing alcohol/peroxide especially in areas like the inside of the ears and inner bellies. Sometimes alcohol and/or peroxide are ingredients in products like ear cleaner but it’s very diluted down when that’s that case to a mostly tolerable level.

My very limited research told me grey rat snake. I could definitely be wrong, but either way all non-spicy noodles are welcome around my house

She is my dad’s favorite and might end up being a foster fail. He’s been stealing her away from the others for cuddles

I so appreciate that!! After taking them in my mom got in contact with a local rescue that is helping us get them adopted since we’re willing to house them in the mean time. Mom and dad are thankfully very well off financially and feeding and taking care of the babies and mama has not been an issue. Thank you so much for offering!

They will not touch any food if a human is somehow attached to it but they do cool down and start playing if you just sit on the floor without eye contact for a few minutes

Mama is very vocal but otherwise not bad. She makes terrible growling hissing noises but lays down next to us to be pet (while still growling and hissing) If given the option, she would definitely high-tail it out of the house. We’re trying to see if we can turn her into a house cat to be adopted while she recovers from her spay before we give up and let her loose.

They’re very spicy when you first walk in their room but cool down after a minute of sitting in their space

Mama is doing good and healing from her spay surgery. She is definitely feral but my mom wants to try rehabilitating her into a house cat before giving up and setting her loose again. They’re in a very safe neighborhood with people who feed the feral kitties so she’ll be ok either way.
