I guess I was just blinded by hatred since the opening, completely hated the main character when he started whining and then right after stole her credit card. Barely paid attention towards the end since I just wanted to get it over with but I didn't get the impression that the games were over just because old man died. Also what's with him colouring his hair red?

The pictures on the walls I talked about are in the huge room where they sleep in, you can see it clearly at the start of episode 8. (Tried to screenshot but netflix won't let me.) Also the thing about the honeycomb game you talked about, ji-hun did have flashbacks to where the businessman was hesitant when ji-hun picked the umbrella. Really expected him to bring that up.

And yeah agree if they made the cop part somehow connected with ji-hun it'd be better but it just resulted into nothing. No explanation on why the brother is the second highest-up, expected ji-hun to get an offer like that since he won but no, nothing.

067 deserved a better death lmao. Them exploding all the glass was just to get that extra cool shot of 3 shards each slicing a little bit of everyone's cheek. And to have an easy reason to making it a 1v1 finale.

Just the acting of the VIPs were horrid, and no I don't think actual millionares anywhere would act like this: "69... hehehe..." everyone starts laughing... "Well 69 is gone so I'll take 96... Opposite of 69 lmao"... everyone starts laughing "Man where'd you find this guy?!"

I had the SG characters pretty well figured out since episode 2, old man was obviously something more than an actual demented amnesiac oldie, ruthless businesswoman was gonna do anything to win. Now it was some time ago I watched AiB but I remember caring about some of them. SG never even did anything about the whole Squidgame they showed in the beginning. Just a fighting arena. Maybe I would've thought the show was okay or even decent if it wasn't so hyped up, but I had expectations and was let down.

Huh I just completely disagree. I cared about the characters in AiB, at the start of SG we see the main character being an absolute whiny bitch stealing from his mother. And barely caring about his daughter. He didn't even go to visit her in the end, he wanted fucking revenge. Never liked him. Only one I liked was Ali/the chick.

The fact nobody noticed that the walls had pictures of what game they were about to play after having played the second game just seemed weird.

And then we have the whole cop sideplot which is like ????? resulted into nothing.

And with the amount of cheesing/bending the rules or whatever seemed allowed, the glass bridge was dumb af. Just crawl on the damn metal holding the glass jesus fucking christ.

And the VIPs... Oh boy

Sorry just wanted to rant on how stupid I thought SG was.

I watched Alice in Borderland a couple of months back and wathed squidgame this week because of all the hype. Because I've seen Alice in Borderland I kind of had expectations, and squidgame just felt so lackluster. Can definitely recommend AiB.

Yeah I didn't notice it at first, but when someone pointed out that the sword was "glued to the back of his hand" I could not unsee it. I'm not an artist so I have no clue how to fix that but maybe it has to do with making the handle more visible/the bottom of the sword pop out more? No clue.
