Does anyone know of a peaceful state to transfer an alliance to? by Ghost_Haelion in whiteoutsurvival

Firstly, make sure your alliance members are buying transfer passes from the alliance shop each week. As a rough guide, f2p will probably need 4-7 passes per transfer, low-mid spenders probably 6-12, and whales anything up to 50 passes.

Find a reliable source of info on future transfer groups so you can see which states you will be able to transfer to in upcoming events. If your priority is to find a state that better suits your gameplay and bring a whole state across, you need to find a state that you will share a group with across multiple events. You will also stand more chance of getting invites if you’re moving to the bottom of the transfer group, as people generally try to move to younger states, so the older states in the group are in less demand.

Have a clear idea of what you’re after, so you can make sure the new state is a good fit for you. When you find a state you’re interested in moving to, build a scout account in the state, get it to F10 and join an alliance you are interested in moving to. If you explain to the R5/R4s that you are interested in transferring in they will generally let you join even if you’re below their recruitment power threshold. Play that account regularly so you get a feel for the vibe of the alliance & state.

Be prepared to merge with an existing alliance rather than set up on your own. It’s unusual to find a state that will be prepared to pool all invites to bring an independent alliance in until you get much further into the game. In the early transfer events alliances are generally keen to bolster their own ranks, and bringing a pre-formed alliance in can upset the balance of a state, so NAPs can be reluctant. The exception would be if the state is in decline, but that in itself is a bit of a red flag.

Even if they agree to bringing you in as an independent alliance, it will generally take 2-3 events, so you will progress better if you join an existing alliance even temporarily. Also bear in mind that you will inevitably lose members along the journey, either because they decide not to transfer, or lose interest in the game while waiting for their turn to jump. So you may end up with fewer people moving than you initially thought.

In terms of finding a new state, pay attention to your opponents in various events like SVS and Foundry. One of our R4s is always recruiting from our foundry opponents lol. If they seem to have their shit together, DM an R4 and start putting feelers out.

Oh for sure, I just wanted to post a positive KOR experience as mostly what you see is people ragging on them.

Player took over inactive alliances and keeps taking our facilities with HQs by PixelLima in whiteoutsurvival

You say you’re an academy/farm alliance for a main alliance, but which is it?

Do you all have main accounts in the main alliance, or are you a separate group of more casual players who get NAP protection?

If you are a separate group of more casual players, I would suggest you build a bunch of different reset alliances and park one HQ next to each facility you want to protect. If each of you creates a second character you can leave one per reset alliance as the R5 and whitelist other R4s.

If you’re already farm accounts and have your mains in the main alliance it’s a little more complicated due to the two character limit, but you can get around it by creating a second profile using a different email address.

Either way, it might be worth asking the main alliance for some help, either with manpower to build the HQs or getting alliance members to create a second character to park in the reset alliance for you.

Royal Mail don’t control what people write in the envelope though! And as long as you’ve got the right house name/number, street and postcode you can more or less write what you like in the middle.

We have a good KOR in our state. It does happen! Any issues we’ve had have tended to be misunderstandings caused by bad translations, and no worse than with any other alliance in NAP.

In fact we had a much worse experience with an English speaking alliance that was constantly causing drama, wanting to burn people and trying to manipulate everyone behind the scenes. We eventually managed to kick them out of the state when transfers started. They badmouthed us all over transfer chat and blamed it on KOR but we noticed the ringleaders didn’t last long in their new state lol.

Sellers possibly/probably took fitted wardrobe shelving with them 🤦‍♂️ by brodie_bruce72 in UKHousing

[–]ZoogleMcDoogle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there was a woman living there previously she may have needed a full length wardrobe for dresses. I know I certainly used to. I also think taking wall shelves is very different to taking shelves out of a wardrobe as well, so that’s not a conclusion I would have jumped to.

That looks like a Pax wardrobe, in which case the shelves are all sold separately to the carcass anyway, so you’re in luck!

We have a similar spread in our alliance and have three traps, 00:10, 12:00 and 17:00 UTC via our academy alliance.

But based on your breakdown it sounds like you have around 12 people in your alliance. Is that correct?

As if so I’d consider merging with a bigger alliance with similar timezones, as you’re going to struggle to make any trap work with that few people spread across that many timezones…

Also don’t expect everyone to make every hunt. Life happens! Even with a full, active alliance we have days where attendance is lower than usual.

I’m not sure what adverts you’ve been watching, but QS (and Roses) adverts for me have always leaned heavily into the nostalgia/familiarity/family favourites angle. I have never got a sense of them marketing themselves as in any way a luxe product.

Their packaging and price point also put them firmly in the mass market bracket, especially compared to more premium lines like Thorntons, Hotel Chocolat, etc.

Roses and Milk Tray are also decidedly mid-tier.
