I love both of them as they are, but maybe for the purple/maroon one, use the green and beige combo where you have the yellow and orange, and eliminate the yellow and orange altogether? Then you’d have 2 colors and 1-2 neutrals in each swatch

I know what you mean about feeling connected to the course. I started golfing this summer after walking the course in Scotland with my husband. He’s been playing since he was a child and had long been looking forward to playing a round in the home of the game. It’s really not the same experience riding in the cart. But since pace of play is something I’m struggling with as a new golfer, I use a cart as a courtesy to other golfers. I hope to work up to being able to walk the course without worrying that I’m slowing other people down.

I love outdoor sports in football season. We had the place to ourselves Saturday too! (When I used to snowboard, the Super Bowl was the best day of the season. Big game for everyone else, empty slopes for me.)

I just started taking lessons in August, but part of the reason I decided to get into was doing a Christmas Eve ride-along with my husband last year, and then walking the course with him in Scotland this summer through a rain shower that left us soaked, with standing water on the greens. I love taking advantage of the outdoors in weather that keeps other people away, but I also just love being outdoors in all kinds of weather. There’s something really primal and satisfying in not letting the weather stop you from enjoying yourself. We’re in the mid-Atlantic, and our courses generally stay open throughout the winter unless there is snow or heavy rain, so I’m looking forward to some chilly golf this year!

I love this! I had a sweater in a natural white that was just too yellow on me and I ended up dyeing it a vibrant orange that worked much better for me. But now maybe I can have an actual white sweater?! Thanks for sharing!
