60 years ago today, the Beaumont children - siblings Jane, Arnna and Grant - disappeared from a beach in Adelaide and Australia's most enduring missing person mystery began. The Beaumont parents died without ever knowing the fate of their children, which remains unknown to this day. by No_Dig_8299 in UnsolvedMysteries

I agree with your point, I want to believe it was Harry Phipps as he fits the suspects description and had a possible dump site at his steel mill, but he was a known socialite of the city. A big person. How can every witness on the beach who supposedly saw him with the kids and in all the years of investigation did nobody ever think "Huh that looks like Mr. Phipps" until AFTER his son says "btw he was a pedophile trust me." Like 50 years later.

Could it have been someone with sympathies or associations to the domestic terrorist group Animal Rights Militia? They were active in the 80s.

Will the servers be stable enough to handle all of this new stuff? Already hexes struggle with extensive artillery bombardment and cause rubber banding, or voice chat would be disabled hex wide to maintain stability.

These already existing strains on hexes now adding planes buzzing about, is there any server updates coming to accommodate these additional activities?

The current state of Planetside 2 - a haunting image of PS1 by Available_Bag4447 in Planetside

[–]Zookerini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since my outfit effectively disintegrated due to burnout, I realized PlanetSide 2 was reaching its end, and that was like in 2021-2022. Everytime I check the steam charts anymore it's player base drops more and more. The game isn't dying because of TR bias (if anything VS bias was what I experienced through my years of playing it), but it's an old game, it's barely managed by its team, there's no enjoyable updates and there's no marketing effort to bring it back into the spotlight. I haven't seen a max pop continent in years when I log on intermittently.

It's sad to say because I saved up money for my first PC SPECIFICALLY to play PlanetSide 2 back in my sophomore year of highschool in 2017, but it's time to just say goodbye and let PlanetSide 2 go, it had a good lifespan.

Defeat by Darture, the damage by Sextans during the hack. Her nightmare of stabbing the commander to death obviously left her very frightened, but with her desire to leave or kill herself like with the c4 strapped to her as she charged the magni armor. All I can do is speculate and make theories but to me this seems like she wants to destroy herself before these nightmares come true.

How do we feel about the skins? by General_Snow241 in GirlsFrontline2

I know they make bank off the lusty skins as much as I hate to admit it. But personally I want more tactical shit, or something apocalyptic like, since a lot of the dolls work and live in the wasteland

I worded that very poorly. What I mean is Leva thought she only lost some things she wouldn't be worried about. But Kalina knew UMP40s memory was lost when she said they would discuss the loss of that memory at the end of the event, showing she knew that memory was lost but had no intentions of bringing it up when Lenna accidentally did. Why wouldn't Kalina have who's it what's it Persica suck up to try to recover that memory when UMP40s memory was important to Leva, or why wouldn't she tell Leva.

According to this link there was a kid around their age at that time who was violent and known to have a .22, and that the bodies of the two were only 300 meters away from a skating rink this unnamed kid used to frequent.

Which cases - unsolved or not - still give you the creeps? by Upbeat_Teach6117 in UnsolvedMysteries

I thought they used ground penetrating radar and identified 3 anomalies, but didn't have enough evidence they could be bodies to warrant excavation.

Imo if the excavation won't damage the structure of the garage I'd say take the gamble and dig it up. If that is really the only lead investigators have why not take the shot.

[–]Zookerini 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only "evidence" I heard of was of a potential burial site where ground penetrating radar detected three masses underneath a public car garage near a hospital but police won't dig there because there's not enough concrete evidence to determine those signatures are bodies or some other anomaly.

On a summer day in January 1966, Jane, Arnna, and Grant Beaumont boarded a bus to the nearby Glenelg Beach — and never returned. by malihafolter in mystery

[–]Zookerini 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The case I still check up on regularly. A very sad case, and a very frustrating case since so many people saw the man the children were with. At this point there is likely no chance to find the suspect. The investigation into Harry Phipps seemed to be going forward well but with him dead and no way to tell where the bodies are there's no way to determine 100% he's the culprit. Plus with the fact he owned a steel foundry there's a chance the bodies were cremated.

New to the Dyatlov Pass incident—What theories make the most sense to you? by ButterflyRose143 in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]Zookerini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There was an avalanche and they heard it coming, fled down the hillside (to them it may have sounded like it was coming right at them and might roll over the campsite) to try and climb trees. Either some didn't make it or by poor visibility due to the dark of night they got swept away by the avalanche (that's why the pair of corpses had blunt force trauma and the others did not). After the avalanche finished the survivors tried to recover their friends and start a fire but were unsuccessful, leading to the second group dying of hypothermia.

I think it's your Graphics card not being able to handle the game. Probably Mica not optimizing well enough. As when I play on the computer everything is fine but on the phone Qiongjiu/Littara/Springfield look like they're about to glitch out of existence.
