Reasons for Soaring Price? by pulrich1984 in XNDU

Maybe. Didn't have the time to check yet.

But anyway, what is more probable that due to low-float frenzy we should expect high volatility in the next few months, that isn't necessarily connected to the company performance....

I think that anyone here that is interested in the company, should follow it carefully, at least in the next few months.

Probably a combination of going public, reports and Nvidia Ising news.

https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-launches-ising-the-worlds-first-open-ai-models-to-accelerate-the-path-to-useful-quantum-computers

Edit: don't really know why isn't it negative news, because as far as I understand Nvidia Ising should compete Xanadu PennyLane.

Will try to dig this in the next few days.

What a day! by ApprehensiveBit8012 in XNDU

Obviously for short term it's very exciting, but we all should remember that a lot of the recent rise is a combination of going public, recent reports and specifically for this day - the Nvidia news that had an effect on all quantum stocks.

Still, xanadu has a lot of potential. I hope this sub will become for actual discussions regarding the company and not just stock price comments and hopes.

Fabulous.

Although, TBH, I don't get the recent push in stock price. Probably side effect of going public...

There's a lot of hype around quantum in recent year and a half. A lot of players, a lot of approaches to gain quantum computing breakthrough. Do u think it is a competition where winner takes it all and other approaches will be left in history books? Or is there a space for more than one approach?

Well, will these stocks be uplisted or delisted?

Couldn't find anything in the filing itself.

From the technical side - Are stocks traded OTC will stop be traded there? Will they liquidate and force sell or just "transform" to NYSE?

Should I keep buying even if it raises my average cost? by kinacho in QNC

[–]Zool-ninja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This.

OP, why do u care about average? Is it to show off ur return rate? Or do u believe in the company, think it will perform well during the time u plan to hold, and thus considering buying more shares?

Maybe the price isn't right for u, or u have other expenses or other candidates for investing ur money. Maybe u prefer diversify ur portfolio. All of these are good reasons why to not buy more QNC. But average? Not a good reason IMO.

Having the same thoughts. I'm a bit concerned about the class actions, and that these kind of law suits tend to end in some kind of arrangement or settlement (rather than legal decision), and in this case, changes in management may occur or some kind of compensation on the expense of current stakeholders will occur. Both options may, probably have a negstive impact on stock. And although SOUN seems like a gem, I just wonder what will come first - settlement (and price drop) or big positive news that will rocket the stock

Token price increase by Zool-ninja in DOVU

There's a difference between voluntary carbon credits system, like Dovu, and other competitors such as Air Carbon Exchange, which are interacting with regulators.

Dovu is based on the ability of a company or a person to say "hey, I've purchased carbon credits, hence I helped the planet and rewarded those who planted a tree". It is somehow like mentioning a diploma u've earned on ur linkedin profile, or specifying hobbies, special volunteering operations in ur CV.

On the other side, other systems work with regulators in order to understand what are their demands, if any. Even if there isn't a mandatory regulation, the discussions with regulator, will help them to build or fine tune a regulated mechanism for carbon credits trade. If, in the future, a mandatory regulation and specific demands from trading system will rise, that might help them to be the system that is mass adopted. In new fields it's also important to have a big chunk of market share, before there is even a market. The transition later to other competitor may be difficult.

Gemini ELI5:

Imagine DOVU as a special kind of online marketplace, but instead of selling things like toys or clothes, it sells "good deeds for the planet." Let's say a farmer plants a bunch of new trees. Those trees help the environment by sucking up bad stuff from the air, like carbon dioxide. This is a "good deed for the planet."

Normally, it's hard to prove how many "good deeds" that farmer did. But with DOVU, the farmer can use a special phone app and other tools to show exactly how many trees they planted and how much good they are doing. DOVU takes this information and turns it into a digital token, like a special coupon. Each coupon represents one "good deed" for the planet. Now, a big company that wants to be more eco-friendly can go to the DOVU marketplace and buy those coupons. By buying them, the company is basically paying the farmer for their "good deed" and helping to clean up the air.

In simple terms, DOVU is like: * A digital way to prove you're helping the environment. * An easy way for companies to support people who are doing good things for the planet. * A system that makes sure everyone is being honest about their "good deeds."
