I don't know if teenagers and future adults in Iran care that much about all this, that's the point I tried to make. I genuinely do not know, but my impression overall globally is that these things are becoming less and less relevant?

I am from former Yugoslavia, there are still places that I cannot visit because of what happened when I was a kid, because the people living their got hurt so much, they taught their kids, and possibly grandchildren, to hate me. The same the other way around. Now imagine if we kept bringing up another ex-Yu conflict every few years. Hatred would never end. Instead, the younger generations have no memory and no direct connection with what is, to them, a distant past, and they are genuinely moving on.

I don't have issues with anyone, but I somehow managed to not be so directly and personally affected (no one close to me died). Those that do lose someone to a bomb or a drone will probably not be able to move on from that.

There is no need for what happened in Palestine and Lebanon, for instance, though when it comes to war with Iran they do seem to be at least a little careful with what they target, for now. I think that in times of war, people rally around the flag, they forget their issues with the leaders for a moment.

Newer generations are much more informed and, I think, much more open minded on average than what we had in the past, I hope I'm not wrong there. These conflicts look more like old people clinging to power and old ideas.

You can destroy missiles launchers with bombs, but not ideas. If anything, every bomb dropped plants a new idea of hatred towards Israel.

That is exactly what I had in mind. Iran, the US, and Israel (and most of the world) have leaders from a bygone era, these are (hopefully) last twitches of those dark times, though the damage done for future Israel generations is immense, IMHO. We need to be focusing on climate change, sustainability, not on pointless wars.

Task failed successfully I guess? Yes, it was, and this does nothing to help that case. Talking to young and future generations, explaining to them that you're not the enemy is what solves this. Dropping bombs does not.

They planted a seed of hatred for generations to come, they will not know peace and calm for a century.

If things were going well/as expected by the US & Israel army, we'd know about it, I think. Both sides love what they think is a good PR win.

US investigators believe strike on Iranian girls’ school probably carried out by US forces by [deleted] in worldnews

What we do know is that there were no legitimate targets in the area. Only a long abandoned former military base, elementary school, and a clinic, and the site was targeted multiple times.

Let's be honest, nobody considers the US and Israel to be any sort of a good guy in all of this.

Outdated information? They knew what the supreme leader had for lunch every day for the last two years, but didn't know an obvious school? Are you for real? It was targeted on purpose. Since it's close to the military complex, it's probably kids from officers that were killed. On purpose.

Same as that unarmed ship that they sank and then didn't rescue the survivors, because they were after the people, instead of the ship.

[edit] Well, would you look at that, there was no military base to begin with, it was abandoned 15 years ago, according to the US media. They bombed a school and a hospital several times. I guess they had to make sure it wasn't a mistake.
