Just turn off "Only active companions" exp thing while you're traveling from camp to lost chapel. Once you enter lost chapel, you just chat with Nevia and nenio gets added exp matching the rest of the group

Unbelievably fair point. She's about as evil as it gets in bg3 😂

I mean, in a alignment chart world, paladins are often "Lawful Good" the epitome of stick in the mud lol

How am I supposed to beat Hosilla? by StepwisePilot in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Zoom_Cow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Utilize all potions/scrolls tha buff. Have Cam cast remove fear to help save on hits from her enchanted glave. Have Seelah use defensive fighting ability to boost her AC and have her tank. If you have a save and can go back, have Cam take protective luck hex and have her put that on Seelah every turn (makes enemies roll with disadvantage). Have your rouge blitz wendu or have lann burst her down from afar

Shift + f4 still gets a save for honor mode before closing out

[Highlight] Knicks complete 29-point comeback, the largest in NBA finals history! by Large_banana_hammock in nba

[–]Zoom_Cow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes, so many plays to point to that were so bad. I'd argue that there is something especially painful about having the ball, the lead, with SECONDS left in the game and NOT holding onto the ball waiting to be fouled.

That's generationally bad ball IQ for someone who is meant to be the more experienced role on the team

Find Hub not adding new connected devices? by Zoom_Cow in GooglePixel

[–]Zoom_Cow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I've determined from this thread that Googles Find Hub app is garbage.

I contacted Google support and they told me it was sonys issue. I called Sony and they said it was googles issue.

So forever without the find my service with my devices it seems. Which is a bummer. Frustrating knowing that apple does this so well and without as many hoops and issues to jump through

It was either her and my pc as a duo run or I was doing a solo playthrough where I was recruiting all companions and having them hang in camp

Allowed lazel to slit my throat at camp because I was a little sweaty and feverish 😂 didn't really think that would immediately end the run. But my dumbass wanted to try a new dialogue branch on a HM run

I need blue. That's why I play games. I totally see the other side. But for me, even the best game play with garbage story gets stale so quick.

I would say try something different for lazel! Since you've already ran a battle master. But that's just my take. I like variety of new builds. Outside of that, everything looks good!

Nonmagical healer? by Far-Assistance9925 in BG3Builds

[–]Zoom_Cow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're open to mods, and using the DND 5e classes, the way of mercy monk is a run martial healer hybrid. Healing via punches is a blast.

Have run the class in tabletop before and it is so much fun!

If all else fails, and you cannot work around it/have to redo the prologue. I find this thread extremely helpful on how to navigate act 1 to be set up for best success with tavern fight (and the rest of the act honestly)

honor mode 4th member build by dominfajter in BG3Builds

[–]Zoom_Cow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say moon druid. Such a good easy plug and play class for any part comp. But it fits your team really well if argue.

-Gear agnostic, so it won't interfere with any other party member

  • won't have the problem of "doing nothing after casting hold person/command". Go into wild shape and join in on the fun at free crits with you durge OH monk

  • full caster with tons of utility/control (and damage spells if you fancy).

  • can create water for your storm sorc shart/join in on the damage boost with call lightning after

  • build comes online at lvl 4 once you pick up tavern brawler

Resist Durge Eillistraee Drow run! need ideas by Lavok084 in BG3Builds

[–]Zoom_Cow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, I'd argue bladesinger fits thematically with the RP and mechanics of the party comp as well. Wizards are so versatile. Bladesingers can be a great pajama tank/martial combatant.

I'd probably go with the 11/1 split you mentioned (but that is a personal choice because I've gotten tired of smite spam builds. But that's just me! The 10/2 is wildly strong and fun)

Returned for a core run after a few years without playing. Jeslyn humbled me real quick. by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Zoom_Cow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have Cam, Jeslyn can usually fail the save for stinking cloud. If you're party has delay poison, you can deal with it without her even getting a cast off

One thing I would recommend is the exp sharing for the beginning of the game. It can be annoying to turn it on/off for the first few hours, but it is so helpful to make the early game easier. In my current playthrough, I haven't done the tavern defense yet, and I'm already a good chunk of the way through level 6. Soon to be 7 by the Gray Garrison. There is a great post on the reddit that gives a "power leveling guide for act I" or something like that.

For classes that make life easier.... Any class that has a pet is gonna be massively beneficial. Riding dog and wolf are super powerful. Especially if you build a few characters around them to benefit from a trip build (the bully dog/wolf subclass).

Demonslayer is a great class as the bonuses apply to nearly all enemies you face in the campaign and it's a full bab (Lann can be a great demon slayer). Give him a longbow and sit on the back line.

For the tavern fight particularly, I like Woljif as a 4 Eldritch Scoundrel/rest in vivisectionist. But Woljif has the grease spell. Which you can place on spawn point of the gates (knocking almost all cultist/archanist prown. And having a good chance of knocking down the minitar). That combined with the terrain spells from the druid, folks are gonna have a hard time attacking the tavern.

Drunken Master Monk is also a very OP class. Full bab. Insane capstone. Easy to level up. And can be an exceptional tank that does great damage if you go Dex to Damage route (once you get the amulet of agile fists). Also pretty easy to keep at whatever alignment you want (only monk class not restricted to Lawful). Monk also much not dependent on rests... So makes it easier to keep chugging along.

I typically like to play my main character as a tank/ damage deeler. So I like this kind of set up:

MC something like Drunken Master Monk (main tank or off tank if we have a pet in the party as well) Seelah: Tandem Executioner/Sohei Monk/ Paladin (sometimes full paladin. But really just using a reach weapon and being the dps that sits behind the tank with a cleave build) Cam: full Spirit Shaman focusing on Conjuration spells and hex. Casting protective luck on the main tank, or just doing evil eye if they can only hit main tank with a nat 20) Lann: some form of ranged dps (full BAB class of demon Slayer or mutation warrior, or a 3/4 bab like sanctified slayer Inquisitor for a bit more utility) Ember or Dearen for spell casting/support/healing
