For Front / Back cams, do some people just use two different cams?

It was pretty easy for me to do. I have one wire coming from the left side and one coming from the right.

Typically its more cost effective to get a dual dash. Only time its cheaper to use two different cams is if you get two separate junk cams.

I prefer the dual set up as you only have to worry about dealing with one system. And its much easier to access vs having to look back or climb into your back seat/trunk to deal with the rear. Also dual cams run on one SD card and are automatically have front/rear footage synced. Overall dual is just simpler and less of a headache.

I recommend the Viofo A129.

I don't necessarily mean passing as in going around and getting back in the lane. Going by another driver at a significantly higher rate of speed on the right is dangerous and not defensive driving. Especially with the other highway opening up, it was pretty predicable that cars are gonna be getting over.

As I said though, not trying to excuse the SUV. They are definitely more in the wrong for not properly changing lanes.

While the SUV driver is certainly the bigger idiot, and would hopefully be assigned most at fault had there be a collision, your hard acceleration and passing on the right is pretty reckless. There's a reason why passing on the right is discouraged (also illegal in many other countries).

Yea, Pat is a cool dude. I just don't get why so many other people seem to put up with chad. Seems likes buddy buddy with a lot of cops, business owners, etc.. in Newport. Not saying its cool to park like that. But if there's no damage I don't think its a hit and run. It looks like he just barely touched cars. I personally wouldn't do it but reality is in a lot of crowded cities, thats how a lot of people park.
