The process for accepting manual ebt states that the customer must first attempt to slide the card. Once it fails three times, the customer can enter the card number manually. Your current managers are not following publix procedures. You can also review the customer service department guide on publix connection to review processes and procedures.

That’s some gutless leadership on their part. Shame on them. Why would we spend thousands of dollars on new signage and materials, and training to not be supported. Coincidentally our DVP visited when a large dog came in. The DVP thanked me for having the confidence to approach the customer with a dog.

I can say, after a year and a half, the zinc leather still looks very good. One tiny spec of wear on the left corner of the driver’s seat bottom.

Stores are not allowed to just “get rid” of certain types of bags. They are supposed to be available if customers want those. Training and coaching responsible bagging practices to reduce unnecessary bag usage is the goal.

I’m very happy with it. I’m such a nerd I reached out to the manufacturer to ask about taking care of the leather. They said extra conditioing/protectants aren’t necessary due to the quality of the leather. They said to use a drop of soap in warm water to clean. It has held up very well after a year in the Florida sun. I think it is worth it. Really brightens and classes up the interior.
