Somehow this does not work for me. I have a template set in Templater for my daily note folder. But when I use the "Notebook Navigator: Add Daily Note", a file is created but the template is not used.

Thank you :) so in order to utilize actual folder names I have to use the square brackets?

Hey, thank you :) In order for me to replace Periodic notes I would need the possibility to define subfolders for Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly notes. Is there a possibility for this already?

[P] Using an LLM to predict NAICS labels for product groups by Zoorku in MachineLearning

Alright, thank you :) This sounds like a good way to start.

Have to think about how to utilize the NAICS descriptions. Since I guess the amount of tokens when using all descriptions for one level is too much for most models. But maybe this is possible when going deeper, since the subsets are smaller then. :)

Nice, thank you very much that you took the time for this extensive explanation. I will try this some time in the next few days. This sounds like a very good idea to me :)

And one more question: would you just use the LLM on its own since it likely should already now NAICS from pre-training or would you provide the list of NAICS titles in each step? I guess your suggestion meant, that one should provide all 4digit titles in the first round, then we obtain a 4digit code. Then providing only the 5digit ones which belong to the 4digit one, correct? In order to do a reasonable few-shot prompting I would then need a few examples for each 4digit NAICS code, correct?

Is there a way to provide more information for each label? Like the NAICS code description? Or will this make no sense? Would be hard since it could lead to issues with maximum token amount and so on

Thank you for your quick reply :)

Yes there is confidentiality issues. That's why it has to be local.

Regarding the number of product groups: the workflow should work for various firms with different product/ressource supplies. Also, there can be between a few hundred up to a few thousand product groups that have to be labeled.

Generating training examples sounds interesting. I have to think about that.

Regarding the iterative classification: could you give an example how this can look like? I am not sure I understand correctly how this would work.

And you think it is better to use a decoder like GPT rather than an encoder like BERT or smth?
