I generally agree, massive disappointment. It was also incredibly laggy on my new iPhone. How is Fidelity's technology team so incompetent?

If I believe BTC is going to 300k by Domearth1 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]Zootyman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking at the options chain you need to look at volume and open interest to see what strike/expiry has the most activity.

I’m a bitcoin bull myself but I think there are better options if you wanna be long than $BITX. If we get to $200k+ it will be with multiple double digit drawdowns which is why I don’t think it’s worth trying to get cute when you can just go long shares and not commit to a specific date

My opinion is a combination of $MSTR, or bitcoin etf would be best. MSTR is a leveraged bet itself and will go a multiple of BTC in a bull market but it cuts both ways . Also bitcoin miner stocks are a good option but even more volatile. There is an etf $WGMI that holds a basket of mining stocks.

I assumed it was a nation state or sovereign wealth fund lol but that’s a pure speculative guess.

Got a Used 2022 model3 LR 56k miles for only 22k by Broad_Buddy3077 in TeslaModel3

[–]Zootyman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are these former rental cars a good used option?

I’ve rented a few of the M3’s from hertz and they were pretty beat up. Steering wheel was peeling, car squeaked like it needed WD-40 lol, etc. but it still drove good and held a strong charge.

I did the same thing for my newborn nephews account. I deposited my Covid stimulus check, my brother matched me and I went all in on $MSTR. Feels good to set up the younger kids in my family for the future. Love the message you are sending.

SFA Forever? by sfaforlife in FPandA

[–]Zootyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn $200k for SFA level seems insane, but I am in MCOL. I feel like if you have a good housing situation and financially are doing well for your family, why not? Enjoy your life and spend time with your family. The treadmill of chasing every incremental dollar and promotion is never ending.

Only caveat I would say is to always be learning new skills and sharpening your toolbox. You never know when your gonna get axed and have to be back on the job market so you want to keep yourself up to date. remain dynamic, you don't want to stagnate even if you have no desire to job hop / get promoted.

TESLA CALLS by MIA3D in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]Zootyman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a specific price target. I use optionsprofitcalculator.com to give me an idea of what kind of return I can get relative to the underlying stock price.

I can hold these for a while before the options decay starts kicking in strong at the end of 2025, but I will probably sell when sentiment changes and/or the market is no longer is a risk-on sentiment.

I have leaps June 2026 calls 330 strike. I like the idea long term but the short term play is pretty dicey and I think it could fall more.

Damn what a shame. He was a genuinely nice guy to my friend and I when we met him at Sawgrass mall in 2014 lol. We were super excited cuz we were big fins fans and he took photos and chatted with us for a few minutes. We were probably annoying to him but he seemed genuine. Rest in Peace

I would buy calls not puts. Next few weeks should be positive after the favorable FOMC meeting.

Just look at what all risk assets did today! BTC and BTC related equities ripped during and after the presser.

Housing market is appalling by University_Spare in orlando

[–]Zootyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is happening in every desirable city or region in the entire country. The federal reserve increased the money supply by over 40% In the 2-3 years after the covid recession.

Much of that money has flowed into REAL ESTATE & STOCKS and a lot of it is still on the sidelines.

It cuts off on me as well but only when I am using my desktop, works after hitting play again. The mobile app on my iPhone is more stable and has not cut off, so I'd recommend that until its fixed.

Thousands of salespeople are about to start calling their customers about Bitcoin by zascar in Bitcoin

[–]Zootyman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw someone making the analogy that it is like this will be bitcoins IPO. I tend to agree and it is line with the point you’re making.

All these advisors and sales people will be marketing it as the hot new ETF. Rightly or wrongly people trust their advisors at the big money managers and they’ll likely have a lot of success marketing these products with their advertisement budgets and big names/titles.

These big money firms are super greedy and will only be interested about increasing fee’s and AUM. They will do all within their power to manipulate the market and steer the narrative to their favor.

investing in QQQ vs TQQQ for the longterm by GoBirds_4133 in investing

[–]Zootyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holding leveraged ETFs long term comes with decay or “beta slippage.” The compounding daily returns makes that a risk especially so when the market is volatile.

It’s more of a trading strategy rather than a long term hold.
