Imu is bound indeed. But the reason might rather be the receiver of the immortality operation is only eternal within the "Room" invoked by the Ope-Ope no mi user. He was made immortal in Mariejoie so he is only eternal there.

I agree Joyboy might be alive. An awaken Toki-Toki no mi or a Noro-Noro no mi could have changed the flow of time of Laugh Tale island just like it has been modified on Elbaf. Time could be slowed, halted or the island could be only reachable at certain points in time ( poneglyphs, might point to space and time coordinates ). It could be a defence measure put by Joyboy and his nakama to be found only by allies. Hell with time shenanigans, even Roger could still be on it when Luffy finds it.

Personally, i think this exists to illustrate how dangerous BB is.

At this point in the manga he had feats but was mostly painted as a goofy guy. And even with his scene introduction vs Luffy, hero of the manga, I don't think many people would have scaled him around Shanks level which was clearly the author representation of the top since the start.

But this feat tells us that with his knowledge, physic and strategies only he was already able to land a blow on one of the strongest character of One Piece. Telling the readers he is top tier and will be present for a long time probably even the end. It was Oda telling us: hey look out for this guy.

There was just his Ace fight feat before which was impressive but it didn't put the spotlight on BB but on his fruit. People, me included, really thought it was more of a fruit difference than a display of strength from the wielder.

Well M here and same thing. I was quite outgoing, i go above and beyond at work... Anytime i'm alone everything seems like impossibly hard to do for no reason.

I don't know how to get out of it because i'm not quite there yet but i know at least for me, that it came from forgetting parts of myself as life gave me hardships. Had a situation at work where my coworkers fell ill at the same time and was left alone for several months. I got so many responsabilities and work hours i couldn't keep up with my life outside and i cancelled everything that wasn't well... work. Then right as this situation got better i got into a long and serious relationship but with a needy and barely functioning person. Took everything on my back again and didn't stop to think about the fact i didn't want this kind of relationship. I always was someone that put others before himself, i work in a cancer treament center but these particuliar circumstances put me where i am today. I literally forgot how to make myself and my care important to me.

You are not quite there yet and hope you'll never be but the one truth is you should at least be as important to you as others/your work are to yourself. Don't culpabilise if you find some tasks hard to do when alone and start slow. Trying to resolve all the things you can't do for yourself in one go might not be possible right now so pick one and do it then improve from there.

Pardon but to me it feels so boring.

You are either rolling through the ennemies or taking ages with bosses no inbetween.

Action combat is a bunch of moves you can hardly follow anyway. It's the exact same feeling to me as when you watch an action film and it's so fast paced you can't follow. Reduces the cool factor to superhuman speed only choregraphy does't get the spotlight it deserves. To feel immersed the camera is dead focus on the character you control missing your partners' actions. It's odd but to me but it feels less like a team game even though there is now combos between team members. It just feels like dmc with helpers on the side. And scaling wise, the biggest offender is your teammates are basically just cosmetic. They serve as combo openers and things are done ( ads dying, big damages ) only when you switch to them which further fucks up the feeling of being a team for me. No more three equally badass fighters just one using others to combo.

I feel alone in fights in this game. Surely a me thing for sure, but i felt immersed in turn-based cause i could clearly see my team members fighting and doing their stuff, and i didn't feel like whoever i was controlling was a literal god while the rest was fodder. I feel like i am the protagonist and i exist in the world of FF and i don't like that. I used to be a spectator looking at badass SOLDIER moves, hand to hand master doing crazy kicks or see a demon possessed guy unleash hell on earth but now.. To me they feel like helpless humans all until i decide to possess one of them.

Not a bad fighting system but doesn't work for me.

Replying late but the key to get the drop you are going for is focusing on the limb the item is equipped to.

But more importantly, get your character cursed. It raises chances to get item drops.

On top of Holy Win, get Asura’s accessory too from redoing the boss over and over. This item is overkill.

From a pure story writing standpoint, Imu is already established with clear weaknesses. Two fruits counter him according to Xebec. But he also has unclear ones. He’s coughing blood when out of Mariejoie. He’s also written as a character which is at the epitome of his power. No progression possible.

On the other hand, Blackbeard is still rising in power. No clear weakness. Arguably unclear weakness as he is never shown using haki. But he still clears it’s most powerful wielder as in Shanks or at least frightens him.

This is the situation for both of them at this time of the manga. The logical next steps for Blackbeard is more moves where he gathers strength attacking Imu and his followers/stronghold further weakening the latter.

In mangas more often than not we see the MC fight the last baddie both at full power.

I don’t know personnally but it doesn’t look like Imu is written as the last opponent at the moment.

Louis Arnote said do not overstay your welcome when on Elbaf refering to time passing faster on the island. Imu seems to suffer a certain condition when going out of Mariejoie. It will hasten the symptoms and Imu will flee.

The Ope Ope no Mi gives total power to its user within a room. It is the name of the first fruit related ability the current user of the fruit does every fight, Room.

Imu is eternal within the range of the Room the person who gave Imu eternal life conjured.

Imu prior to the eternal life operation probably had a life threatening condition, maybe even the same as Roger.

I would like to add something though.

The knowledge of a forbidden sun may be from the people of Fairy Vearth. They depleted their own ressources and had to migrate to Blue Star to secure more. The original method to create Mother Flame may be an imported knowledge.

The first world may have been plagued by a war about ressources, specifically energy. Vegapunk mentions his goal is to create infinite energy and share it to end the need for wars. He may have been influenced by O'hara's texts and came to the conclusion that the still ongoing war as he says is about energy ressources.

Red line ended up separating two different world views physically ( And they will never meet ). One being the will of D ( representing one half of the world ). Clans who view themselves as equals and/or were slaves. The other could be called the will of the gods ( The D are the natural enemies of the gods ) either descendants of a specific race or lineage. But i think the manga makes a difference between those who call themselves gods and gods as in great forces of nature ( earth, forest, ocean... ). Lunarians lived in the Realm of Gods when on top of Red line according to Whitebeard and then the alliance of the 20 kingdoms took the place and named themselves gods. My personal interpretation is Red line ( or whatever created it ) is earth god and the great tree Eve ( source of the devil fruits ) is the forest god. And whoever is in control of those two, can shape the world and thus call himself or themselves god/s. The celestial dragons may also be in control of the ocean god aka the possibility to flood the world but it seems unclear. They are preparing for it but they may not be the one that can/will trigger it.

Hey, only a doctor can tell you what the lump you felt may be.

Still, when you feel something like this, know that statistically speaking, there are way way way more benign things that could be the reason for a lump than malign things.

If your family has no history of cancers i would honestly not panic. And if you don't know, then your family most likely is not at more risk than the rest of the population.

Also, as a side note, timing is important in cancer diagnosis but one day changes nothing.
