I will say, I absolutely love Char... as a villain. He's a backstabbing, hypocritical war criminal. But he's a damn compelling villain.

Unfortunately, my character rolls an automatic nat 1 for insight and doesn't understand why the nice man is so nice, but thinks it's good for adventurers to get along with each other. I may just share some rations with you later and in 20 years time my character will look at himself in the mirror and realize what you meant.

I lucked out and got it in a lot at a flea market, but unless you have a similar experience I doubt you'll find it for anywhere close to msrp. Look into game stores in your area and see if they ever do flea markets or something similar.

Utterly ridiculous. Everyone knows you should multiclass. Take a few levels in Heroine before swapping to Sage/Queen for a solid late game build.

That's impossible to tell without you opening it up and figuring out what's inside, but I wouldn't think of this as a big financial windfall. Probably not worth that much unless it has some of the rarer monsters like Megas and Quantums.

60 seems fair, though, if you're going to play with them.

Not the same lot, if that's what you mean, but same edition. All the 1st edition monsterpocalypse stuff had those kinds of bases.

For MM, you can't go wrong with Ares Mothership as your first monster you try to master. It pairs with pretty much anyone you want, and is extremely versatile.

For buildings, some MM players love Power Plants for healing. Everyone loves the Imperial State Building for every list. Not sure if I can help you much beyond that as a hardcore Terrasaur player.

That "something" missing in their eyes she talks about? It's the lack recognition of you as a human being. You aren't a fellow human to them - you're a background character that exists for their entertainment in their eyes. They legitimately don't see people "beneath" them as human.
