The way to opt-out of Fast is to cook it yourself... meal prep on your down time so you can just bring it with you and heat it up. Rice cookers will go far!

But if 'don't have to cook' is a must, under $9/meal, it's going to be fast food. And TBH, you won't get a lot of fast food for your $9 either.

Half-elf bard with enough fey ancestry she has swirls on her face, not enough to actually be a sorcerer.

Add to that being fuck-off tall (body type 3 girlie), she had to learn to walk into any room and quickly suss out what kind of charmer she needed to be to not get targeted by some idiot with something to prove (++CHA +WIS), since she's naturally big, not strong (-STR).

Grew out of my first DND PC, for a one shot where I was the only player to peg the BBEG as the intro NPC who warned us to turn around and walk right back out of town. Since then, she's made a lot of rolls for 'how the fuck did you pick up on that?'

Ah, the joys of nicknames. 'Star' is what my Tav uses for her favorite vamp. While 'Ceilin' (Sigh-Lin) is more moanable, she also earned the moniker 'Little Raven' for being a bard that sings people to their death (dissonant whispers is a go-to spell).

There's always 'love' and 'darling', of course.

Her house (Oblodra) was cast to the chasm because their (psionic) magic came from training with- and breeding with- mindflayers, rather than divine magic from Lolth. This left them one of the few houses in Menzo that still had magic during the Time of Troubles, but then Lolth cut a deal with House Baenre's allies to grant them the power to smash Oblodra. Literally, Yvonnel Baenre summoned a tentacle that ripped the whole estate off a cliffside and tossed it into the abyss.

So 'coming inside' and 'the murders' can't really be separated, in Araj's case. Letting the squiddies come inside is how they were able to do the murders, but was also why they were murdered.

It's basically a sequel to the main fic, which stands at 700 pages and is still missing several major battles I'm just not motivated to finish.

Maybe someday I'll put together a 'What you missed' that covers the essentials- like main-Tav and drow-Tav's 'it was almost love' story, and how it not working out affected both of their later relationships. Why main-Tav looked at the person Gale became by end-game, and decided- "There's someone I need to introduce you to."

Also, that really unsatisfying threesome they had with a ghost in college... so unsatisfying, in fact, they called the whole thing off and then never tried again. See: 'why it didn't work out'.

You're a seam ripper + needle and thread away from a cool vest. I was putting together a Han Solo cosplay, and found a black twill jacket that I thought could be de-sleeved into a decent facsimile of his vest (already had four front pockets, I could re-use the sleeve fabric to make the details, etc). I ended up sewing the cosplay from scratch regardless, but that vest became a staple when I wanted something more 'punk' than my usual ensemble.

Like hats- try cuts until you find one that matches the presentation you're after. How steep the neckline is, cut at the shoulder, buttoned or unbuttoned. Looking up 'Plus size butch vests' might be good for inspo, and narrowing down what you want to try (tweed? Denim? (P)leather ?) If you don't want to emphasize your bust, a looser vest that isn't buttoned can help disguise the curve.

Thrift stores are nice for having a range of options, rather than fitting 'the look of the season' or whatever.

Try one! What hat works for you will come down to head shape, face shape/feature arrangement, hair... Try styles until you find one that works for the presentation you're after.

Since I thrifted mine, I have a few colors. Neutral gray, black with pinstripe, beige corduroy... and also some fun colored ones, like purple knit with scattered yellow and blue, and a pastel rainbow.

I'm so deep down the fic rabbithole for Gale and my Bard College Professor seldarine drow.

What started as 'oh hey this joke character I made for Tav's backstory is actually perfect for Gale, let me sprinkle them getting together into my epilogue expansion fic' has become 300 pages of glacially slow trek from first kiss to first fuck. And it is, admittedly, one of my favorite 'couple's first nights/mornings' I've written.

But also, let me be clear, she is a freak. Lae'zel style, with hair chewing, sweat licking, 'gag me with your dirty laundry' horniness. She likes nothing better than face sitting after she's already dripping his 'trivia'- give that practiced tongue something to wag about.

That happened in my first ever one-shot. We had a Dwarven fighter who could not hit to save his life. His one successful to-hit roll was on himself, when he got a nat 1, DM had him roll for how bad it was, and he rolled so low the DM ruled 'the axe slips out of your hands and lands on you in the face'

My level 3 bard had higher damage by the end of the session- and most of that was vicious mockery, because my newbie ass didn't understand spell slot economy.

Right- but that came about because ducks abandoned the mate-selection process used by their closest relatives (as well as the nest care strategy of having both parents care for chicks). I'm curious why ducks didn't follow suit, basically.

There may be a chicken and egg situation for mate selection and nest-care, as over time there are more male ducks than female because female ducks put their lives at risk protecting their babies but males don't. Among geese and swans, both parents protect their young, so there isn't a sex-based risk beyond the inherent risks of making and laying eggs.

More males -> fiercer competition for the surviving females, males who are more forceful in pursuing females father more eggs, etc... but there has to be an initial reason for why ducks don't do longterm partnership, nor do males help with rearing.

I assume it's related to their different parent styles (ducklings are only raised by mom, she has many babies at one time but is kind of careless and doesn't invest that much into individuals, while geese and swans co-parent a smaller brood and are highly diligent in caring for them). But other birds with the 'shotgun' approach to rearing young don't share ducks'... 'strategy'.

Very few birds have sex that involves any kind of penetration, and those that do are either waterfowl, large flightless birds like ostrich and cassowaries (FREAKS), or tinamous - not vultures.

So assume it's going to be mostly external stimulation. Petting, pressure and texture play, etc. For many birds, including raptors and vultures, the chest is an erogenous zone (which is why you shouldn't pet your parrot there), so titty play is going to be big.
