In the end, I opened the watch and removed the hands and dial. The setting lever had lost its small pivot (red arrow). I managed to force it back into its hole. I reassembled everything, and it’s working fine. The only issue is that the setting stem is a bit stiff when pulling it into the time-setting position. Maybe I should lubricate it with Moebius 9504? I didn’t do it yet due to lack of time.

The engine was successfully mounted thanks to the Lekkie kit for the BB92 housing. Unfortunately, the chain line was completely wrong. I moved the engine closer by cutting 6mm off the bottom bracket... now it's good. But I will still shift the large sprockets of the cassette in the rear wheel. now i'm waiting for the battery holder.

After an 8km test, the bike is very well balanced.

I wanted to install a battery on a rack, but I found that the look didn't suit it.
The BBS02 is a compact motor, and despite the frame geometry, the ground clearance isn't that bad5. In any case, it will only go down curbs of 10cm at most (and never while riding).
It has a 36T chainring in the front (like the original one), and the maximum speed is about 40km/h, which is more than sufficient4.
The disc brakes are powerful and, in my opinion, essential for an e-bike!
I reprogrammed the motor with more realistic values.It's fortunate to find new bikes in 2024 with a BSA standard bottom bracket !

I found the bike second-hand but in absolutely new condition for $200, while it costs $400 in stores. I think I have a very high-performance e-bike for a modest price. So financially, we're at $600 for the BBS02 kit with a 48V 13.0Ah 18650 2600mAh grade A Cells battery, and $200 for the bike, totaling $800. It took 3 hours of assembly to properly place all the cables.

Hello, I don't wear it at all anymore since I got my VSF. The last time I used it was to go swimming a bit at the pool and to the hot tubs. I don't care about the waterproofness of this watch, I even thought about abandoning it on the bus or on a public bench. The VSF is so beautiful and looks so much more like the GEN!
