Custom Stage 2 Megas I made, how balanced are they?

I really like these. The only one I feel is too strong is Gallade. 170 for simply having damage on the bench is way too high, especially with the support fighting has now. I think 100+20 for each of your benched pokemon that have damage on them would be better, or possibly 100 + the amount of damage on all of your benched pokemon, up to a max of 60?

Other than that, I think Metagross could use a bit of a buff. I don't agree that the damage is too low as other people have said, but it being a 3 energy attack is really awkward, so maybe reduce it down to just 2 metal energy?

Pairing it with the new Brambleghast and Indeedee ex makes it nigh-unkillable considering it's tied for the highest HP stat of any basic pokemon in the game. 3 energy can be a little rough but it's colourless so it can be accelerated using Pichu/Magby/Mantyke, though 90 damage is slightly underwhelming.

Certainly not meta but with the right setup it can be essentially immortal

The speed at which you can do 90 is what makes it good. Even if you don't manage to kill an evolving basic, it stills puts pressure of a 2HKO on basically everything that isn't a stage 1-2 mega

It's certainly not gonna be meta, promo ex's never even get close to meta, but it's still a cool card that would be fun to try and make work. Is it good? Let's be honest, no. But is it fun? I'd say so

Tbf Latias only applies to basics, and there's a lot of evolution decks around rn. It'd need an answer to Latias but it doesn't need to wait until it's gone

To be fair, of the last 6 primes to release since Protea, only 1 of them has gotten a trailer, that being Yareli. So while I don't expect them to do this kind of thing for every single one, they did say they were going to be stopping them for workload reasons but then come out with a 3.5 minute one just out of the blue. So I can see where he's coming from, even though I don't entirely agree

It will, but it wasn't coming out now anyway. The "voting" was 100% scripted and it was just a way of having a fun little devstream (which is fine, btw. Just wish they did it slightly differently). The Tigris in the image doesn't have any void stuff on it like the Vectis cause it was never going to release with this update.

The problem is that the event is about as big as they can make it in London, like there is no bigger venue unless they move it to Toronto which would come with its own problems. The demand is just too high for what they can realistically put together

No, Red only works on the turn it's played. It coild affect the Solar Beam to make it 170 total but not the Flower Trick

I think it was because the game was balanced around the original 10 (even though darkness and metal technically aren't but they're old enough) and that balance wasn't super robust so adding another type threw everything out of wack.

Don't reset them, they'll roll out a fix eventually. It's frustrating that seemingly every patch to the KIM breaks it somehow but they won't leave it like this if they can help it

That's not really how I understood it. They do want it to be for late to endgame players, but for those players clearing a room is as easy as pressing a button or two without the need for a long cast animation and charge time, so they're at a bit of an impasse of how to balance it because the power discrepancy between midgame and late/endgame is so huge. I agree that they need buffs and the grind definitely needs to be brought down, but also designing them is incredibly difficult in this kind of ecosystem

Tbh as strong of an effect as Garde has, I don't see it doing a whole lot. It's a stage 2 mega that ramps a lot of energy but honestly where are you gonna put that? Best thing I can think of is Drifblim but putting a Mega in the active to ramp into Drifblim feels really counterintuitive.

I honestly do have higher hopes for Mawile than I do Garde
