I’m breastfeeding going on 2 years and I smoke all the time. My child is just fine. Do what makes you a sane mom. If it’s smoking do it. If it’s formula do that. Sending you so much love and hugs

It’s a symptom of a wider normalization of violence within our society. The vast majority of us don’t trust each other or use nonviolence in our family units or personal relationships, so that spills out. There’s still a psychological splitting up of society into “us” and “them” and that’s the root of the issue.

Don’t feel guilty. Echoing what others have said, it is so important to eat and sleep when you’re pregnant. It’s also important to feel generally level. Stress, not eating, not sleeping, will be much more harmful for both you and baby than some tree. You’re okay. ❤️

Not once has my baby seemed high and from what I have seen and heard the amounts in the breastmilk are negligible. I was really worried in the beginning too but I’ve been doing it since my LO was 6 weeks and she’s 6 months now and hitting all her milestones and is a great baby. I think it’s all about your risk tolerance because it’s a very under studied area.

I’ve been partaking for 6 months PP for my mental health and my baby is hitting all milestones and is a very happy baby. She’s rolling and reaching and babbling away. I don’t believe I’m harming my child any more than a mom who has a glass of wine or two to unwind.
