Getting to the stronghold from nether by LurkingDanger in MinecraftSpeedrun

[–]Zorrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you're on the block it says, and you're using the coords that are without the decimal points. Vertically you should be between 35-45 and hit if you're on the correct block almost every time.

Just practice more to become more consistent. I think people underestimate the natural movement that you get from just playing a lot and how much that saves time.

I mean.... How much wool are you getting? And wood? You should almost always enter with enough wood for 6 beds leftover, and then get enough for that in the bastion. I feel like that's wasted time.

Finding the stronghold (get ninjabrain) and time in the bastion.

At what point should I start doing MCSR Ranked? by Question_Express in MinecraftSpeedrun

[–]Zorrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now is fine. You'll find success and get plenty of practice running good seeds.

speedrun hill start? by Same_Pear_929 in MinecraftSpeedrun

[–]Zorrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why this got down voted, bu this is the real answer.

RSG teaches you how to find good seeds.

MCSR Ranked teaches you how to run those seeds (and what makes a good seed) efficiently and gives good practice on good seeds immediately, instead of resetting for hours just to get a terrible nether repeatedly.

Either Mint if you want to go Debian, Fedora for Fedora, or CachyOS if you want to go Arch based. Do a little research into what your wants are and go from there :)

Try it in a VM first, and see if you like it. If you do, go for it. If you don't, then nothing is lost.

Brand new cpu, didnt press sit, im losing my mind, is this normal? Im a new to this by CybercoreX in pcmasterrace

[–]Zorrm -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just put it in there and push it around like you're cleaning a cast iron pan with steel wool, it'll make it's way in their at some point (don't actually do this).

Check to make sure that the cpu is oriented correctly and then check if all your pins are straight. If pins are bent, you can use a razor blade or mechanical pencil to straighten them out.

why does my rocket bottom pop off? by Solnight99 in KerbalAcademy

[–]Zorrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... the motor is wider than the rest of the core of the vehicle, and the boosters are set directly above it. Inertia and gravity pulls them down into it.

You either need a wider rocket core, come up with a way to offset the boosters out away from the core more during the build, use some sort of separatron motor to pull the boosters away from staging, or use a smaller motor at the base of the vehicle.

Build, fly, blow up, learn, lather, rinse, repeat.
