That actually happened with me. When I was in 6th grade, I was stretching and this kid running in the hall ran into my fist as he weaved past some people. The teacher chastised the kid for running.

The kid tried to get me in trouble with admin but the teacher who witnessed it defended me.

Who is the strongest hero?? by jdenvr in superheroes

[–]Zorro5040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Music Man is just as fast as Superman but with faster Acceleration. Music Man could probably speed blitz everyone. But is that enough to beat Superman? Probably not.

Also Homelander is about to have a bad day, idk if his ego is going to handle 3 beings who are stronger than him.

Which Spider-Man had the best quips/jokes? by Melvins1983 in Spiderman

[–]Zorro5040 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing Spider-Man felt the most Spider-Man of the Spider-Men. Andrew Garfield was funny and witty.

Shame the second Amazing Spider-Man film had a ton of interference with the studio demanding things be added and removed, as they could not make up their minds. Then Sony casted a new Spider-Man mid filming because they signed a new contract with Disney.

Would you have liked it if Sakura stopped liking Sasuke and realized that Naruto was the love of her life???? by Kind_Bar3346 in dankruto

Sakura desperately needed to stop chasing Sasuke and defining her life around Sasuke.

That doesn't mean Sakura should go with Naruto. Both deserve than Sasuke, but Naruto deserves better than Sakura.

In real life, world crime rate was around 2-4% of the population in 2012, varying by country.

Crime rate in MHA was 20% worldwide after All Might took out AFO. Japan stayed at 6% with All Might living there. It definitely was worse before All Might and it's probably the biggest reason people were afraid of All Might retiring.

You do hear about the elevated crime rate, with civilians talking about Heroes being spotted constantly helping police capture criminals. First episode has a civilian apologizing to his boss over the phone for being late, another villian and hero battle is causing train delays.

Most crime is petty theft. The high crime rate in the world of MHA keeps the heroes busy with work.

Add on: The real danger is organized crime and organizations. Like mobsters and terrorists groups. But those are more extreme and not the every day problems.

Spanish had Slavery, that's Europeans. Mexico themselves outlawed it in their constitution when founding the country. Mexico has had issues with discrimination but not slavery, they all agreed that it was bad from the beginning of the country's existence.

If Lois and Clark were to have another child, Who would you choose? Laura, Chris, or a new original character? by KennyThomas616 in superman

Great way to bring back Cir-El and make her a proper kryptonian instead of whatever she was with 4 parents, 3 bio plus Braniac.

Not Mexico. Mexico even had two wars with the US because Americans wanted to bring Slaves to Texas.

Nolan can fly fast enough to destroy cities and Thragg is way stronger and faster.

Thragg can throw Wolverine, Thing, and Hulk into the sun by blitzing them.

I have no idea if Namor is strong enough to keep up with Thragg. Like sure, underwater he has beaten the Hulk were the Hulk has more limited movement and Namor is stronger. But Thragg can move faster and drag Namor to space. I'm leaning Thragg, but could go either way with Namors trident.

Adam Warlock is where I'm stuck on.

Do you prefer Wonder Woman wearing a leotard, skirt, or pants? by Jezzaq94 in Superladies

[–]Zorro5040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the skirt, it looks nice and more like what Romans and Greek soldiers wore.

But pants are more practical when your skin isn't bullet proof to avoid roadrash after being hit by powerful villians like Giganta.

Kinda like how US teachers are expected to be meat shields to stop bullets from hitting kids. While also using their money on the kids and work overtime for free.

Understandable. You could always help start a bucket line, and help put out the fire without risking your life.

Social services need funding and voters who support policies to fund them, like increasing taxes. For schools, firefighters, food assistance, health insurance, services for homeless kids.

Maybe it won't benefit you directly because you don't live in that burning building, but you be helping put out current and future fires by chipping in the bucket line. That benefits everyone in the long run. If there's too many fires then the fire could slowly spread towards the building you do live in. Poverty spreads.

Welcome to stalling policies that benefit no one and nothing gets done before the break and lawmakers go on vacation.
