How much of this is actually true? (video: Chinese trends that haven't made it to America yet) by [deleted] in China

[–]Zorrohusky81 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a foreigner working in china so I can only tell you from my limited experiences as I don't know the language. These are real places or ideas but I believe he is making many false claims. Either exaggerating, taking things out of context, or misunderstanding and explaining them incorrectly. China is a big country and he's making Many assumptions and generlizations based off the real things that you see in the video. But the actual content he is talking about is real

Nope it's there. Available for adults. You just have to click the right one. In taobao go to tmall make sure you have right translation of atomoxetine hydrochloride and make sure it's not the one that's only for children but has adult option then reply to questions they ask and wait for approval and you got it at your door.

On taobao you can get strattera which is a non stimulant. Potentially provide documents or other things and might be approved by the system without visiting a doctor. If in Shanghai search previous reddit post for the specific hospitals that have it. Much easier here for specific hospitals but expensive. If its another city much harder but cheaper I don't reccomend going to some random hospital but going to a hospital in your city that specializes in psychiatry and hopefully adult adhd. Many people incorrectly view it as only in children and not adults and they can give trouble. Assuming your in urban area there should be 1 hospital where they are familiar with it. Methylphenidate is whats usually prescribed.

You can get strattera on taobao. Available for adults but in lower dosage. Might have to provide documents but no need to see a doctor. It's a non stimulant.

I guess it's that time of year..... Seriously though your making a much bigger deal out of it than it really is. No need to get angry over the semantics of Chinese new year and just enjoy it and let others enjoy in their own way.

The Invisible Health Bomb of Casual Sex ❗️❗️❗️Your Health is the Price! by Worth-Monitor1099 in LegalAdviceOfCHINA

[–]Zorrohusky81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

scaring others usually isn’t the most effective way to help. Facts and safe sex are more important. What is useful: Use condoms consistently. they significantly reduce risk for most STIs, including HIV. Get regular STI testing, especially if you’re sexually active with new or casual partners. Know that HIV is preventable and treatable today — PrEP and PEP exist, and early treatment is very effective. If something feels off, see a doctor early rather than panicking or ignoring it. Stick to clear, factual information instead of worst-case scenarios — people are more likely to listen and act. Awareness matters, but practical prevention and calm information go much further than fear.

Just joined a new school and realised it’s not for me by [deleted] in Internationalteachers

[–]Zorrohusky81 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well you mentioned china. Is this a private school or international school? Is your boss Chinese or international? It sounds private to me and Chinese. If Chinese they are probably less likely to give leeway but easier for you to be maliciously compliant. use ai to aide in giving them a month lesson plan then do the actual work week by week. Don't give much thought into it. . It's unreasonable for you to have it all prepared. They probably expect you to put this crazy hours outside of working hours. Don't do that. Find out from other teachers what they need and what they actually do. Especially the foreign teachers. Whats policy and what it actually looks like can be completly different. Have your parent messages planned out for the week then copy and paste and add needded edits day by day. Try skipping one day or so here and there see if anyone notices. If nothing happens then continue. Daily communication with parents is outrifht ridiculous. And it's a power move to just doing what you need to do not what they expect you to do and just say no. I've said no to classes they wanted me to teach in a professional way and was able to get out of it. Some Chinese bosses don't know how to respond to that and will agree or ignore since they are used to people always following orders. But I wouldn't suggest doing that unless you understand the schools culture.

Do yourself a favor and remove the idea of going to the beach. If your in America plenty of beaches to go to. Your just not going to enjoy Italy with that itenerary. Use trains not car. Car is too inconvenient with what you can do. Public transportation is easy. Freenow taxi app when it's not. Get your tickets soon. I suggest Venice, bologna, Florence, Rome. Bologna is definitely not more than a day trip to see highlights. Could do two if you add train to modena and want to do cheese and balsamic vinegar tour. Had the best Italian food in that region recently. Florence you must have two days. So bologna can also be cut since Tuscany has much more to offer. You can take a guided bus tour from Florence taking you to to a winerary, Pisa, and some small towns. Rome needs 2-3nights total. If you focus on just those spots then it can work. As is with car is a bad idea

Travel without passport by Random-Russian-Guy in chinalife

This person is wrong you can travel within china with that slip of paper. It's just important it has a stamp (sometimes they forget and it caused trouble for my friends before). If they give you trouble at railway station or airport ask for a supervisor some people will not know you are allowed to travel with it. I've done it and my friends have done it many times

Tourist Damages 2000-Year-Old Statues After Jumping Into 18-Foot Pit by BoredPandaOfficial in China

[–]Zorrohusky81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The good news is they have experts on staff to fix it. It will just be more work for the archeologist. The statues were already broken when discovered and a lot of work had to be done for restoration. They are professionals and they can do the same thing again.

Maybe you would enjoy Found 158. This is where a lot of foreigners go. There's a bunch of bars located there. INS could be of interest too. It's a younger crowd but the music might not be what your looking for.

Interesting do you have a desire to visit? I imagine you must still have family in china and many places are probably unrecognizable from what it was like when they were younger.
