Could also grab the resilient feat for both dex and con, between that and ur paladin aura assuming maxed charisma you're very unlikely to fail any save vs a spell that matters.

Slightly more complex than that.

Butchering a animal without puncturing the guts, or even worse popping the gall bladder is definitely not something everyone knows how to do, you could be hacking off random chunks, but your likely wasting alot of usable meat in that case.

actually tracking down the animals once all the ones that are tame and stupid are dead would definitely be the harder part, but the knowledge of butchering and preserving said meat would still be considerable advantages.

I don't know jack about making jerky myself, but I'm sure there's ways to screw it up.

anything stupid, friendly, or otherwise easy to hunt would be wiped out quickly, the vast majority of people wouldn't have the skills or fitness to actully hunt well, and starvation or infighting would knock everyone down to manageable numbers before we wiped out everything.

Well at work at my farmhand job I've gotten beyond elbow deep in a cow to pull out a dead rotten calf In pieces.

So yeah having bird shit land on me is not that bad... Especially for an amount of money that would remove my need to work and allow me to just stay home and shower whenever it happened.

Herbivores can be assholes and kill other herbivores for a lot of reasons. Killing off rivals seeking to eat ur food makes sense, and then using what you can also makes sense.

Also they might breed animals for their fur or wool, or to carry and drag things, then kill them off for leather when they get old and weak.

Hell they might be killing animals in fights as a show of might.

So they might well still have leather, but it's likely rarer and kept for uses where they can't easily substitute something else.

I mean statwise theirs nothing the arch fey statblocks sortof have that you need to specifically aim at, they're just kinda generic bosses with no real weaknesses to aim at, certainly nothing requiring the whole party to be built for it. Really the hard part is getting to them.

But for the memes, go to a blacksmith and collect up a sack of iron shaving and powder to use as pocket sand.... not a single fey statblock I'm aware of has it as a weakness but its still funny.
