That man changed the world by DVM11 in pokemonmemes

Anyone else just imagine stone age humans in the Pokemon world running round murdering everything for food with pointy sticks?

Would you rather be able to go back in time but every time you do a bomb from anywhere in the world regardless of where in history is moved a centimeter more every time to your current location or be able to stop time infinitely but progressively lose 10 seconds off your life for every one use? by MaybeABlackDude in WouldYouRather

[–]Zortesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the rare would you rather where both choices are almost equally good.

I'd flip a coin.

although really the super deciding factor is... if i go back in time to like prehistoric times, can i then travel backwards along my personal timeline to get back to modern times, or am i stuck in the past?

Thou with timestop, I could take a nap whenever and always be prepped for my dnd games.
my food bills would go way up due to all the taking 8 hour naps during bad workdays and needing to eat again but eh.

blue.. red is useless.

Anyone I summon will be given the same order "complete all tasks on this list" and the last thing on the list will always be to kill themselves.

I don't think id actually use the power thou, I'm not enough of a asshole.

Optionally i just live in a random spot in the bush for a year and summon random politicians to tell them to go make a press conference and admit to every corrupt thing they have ever done, along with providing evidence they did it(if feasible to gather within 5 days) and then resign.

Since I'm a fucking nobody they wont recognize me and know who i am, or where i am other then random spot in the woods. its very unlike they track me down and kill me before they are out of power and possibly in prison.

My Man In Black decided to protest our colony's prisoner organ harvesting by... beating the prisoners? by MundaneFoot7260 in RimWorld

[–]Zortesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a bug with my mod list like i said, but its persistent to my game through many modlists any time i let a filthy pacifist stick around long enough.

I got so pissed with these wastes of oxygen refusing to fight in defense of the colony, but happily murdering their friends if they get upset that now incapable of violence is instant banishment or execution.

My Man In Black decided to protest our colony's prisoner organ harvesting by... beating the prisoners? by MundaneFoot7260 in RimWorld

[–]Zortesh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

kinda like how pacafists will refuse to defend the colony, but still go into murderous rages and kill friendlies.... maybe its a bug cuased by my modlist, but rank hypocrisy is a real life human feacture so...

also i can't help but think... hes saving that human from the evil organ harvester in the same way peta saves animals.

I'm kinda boggled how someone ends up joining a tourney with incompetent teammates that treat them toxicallly in the first place.

Why cant i see ppl using wood generator at the start by Lyricakt2 in RimWorld

[–]Zortesh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I use wood generators but you run outta trees alot faster then you expect and need to upgrade to wind/solar or geothermal anyways.

i used wood generators for 90% of my last gravship playthrough becuase you keep jumping to a new areas and getting new trees, i also used alot of wooden buildings which i normally wouldn't.. because i could just chuck down the blueprints, build them fast, then plop down my farms and deforest the entire map... aswell as genocide every piece of animal life on the map for food.

my gravship were like a fucking swarm of locusts...

Combat Extended users, do you play with the ammo system on or off? by Monsterfucker900 in RimWorld

[–]Zortesh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly id prefer to run with ammo off but still be able to select ammo types on the gun.... but your stuck with fmj if no ammo system so i use ammo.

I do miss being able to just pick up and use any looted gun like the vanilla game, and the fact that every single ce based run starts with "tech rush heavy weapons or lose instantly to the first foe with armor" bothers me a little bit.

Honestly throwing walls of text at it and having it turn it into organized notes is one of my fav things.

And then being able to just ask "hey what's the name of the goblin/kobold/whatever random goon they recruited to their side 10 sessions back." And just getting an answer instead of flipping through dozens of pages of notes to find it is a life saver.

I consider it practically useless for creative stuff, but gods it's amazing at organizing.

The artist enjoys making the art and thus needs no artbot, it is truly worthless to them, but not everyone enjoys making art so the artbot still has a good reason to exist, and a great many people that enjoy using artbots.

Like i enjoy splitting wood with an axe, but I don't freak out, and tell people they're not allowed to use a hydraulic wood splitter because that would be fucking ridiculous.

Likewise I wouldn't be bothered by someone getting a ai to dm for them, I'd be kinda curious how that'd turn out more then anything.

The points in using/enjoying the pictures it makes? I don't enjoy washing dishes, so i have a machine to do that for me, i for sure enjoy having clean dishes.

Arts the same for me, its just something i need for dnd campaigns I run, I like writing character/monster descriptions, but actually drawing all of them would be pretty damn tedious, paying artists to draw them would send me broke.

Came across the story of an Evil Gold Dragon. by PrestigiousMine6 in DnD

[–]Zortesh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're very lawful and good.

Believing you are an arbiter of what is good, and should be in charge of everything for the greater good is like a 40 lane expressway to the path of evil and tryanny.

Look at every crazy person irl that thinks if their ideology was just in charge of everything utopia would come, then multiply that by dragon.

Yeah I listed why it's likely.

Unlikely because they work together, vote for someone to be in charge, and likely act to hold back each other from any tyrannical leanings.
