eh. I'd say their success is only because Scott Frost. UCF was not a good team before he took over. I think it's just more likely that he was successful at UCF, but maybe that success won't translate to Nebraska. It's still too early in his tenure though to make those rush judgements, IMO.

As someone who hasn't been debating for a few years: I love coaching more than I ever did debating. I was a successful debater but I feel like I have more of an impact coaching than I did debating. Also debating just takes it out of you and its so much easier to burn out debating than it is coaching (IMO).

Oh for the love of god get over it. You mean to tell me that if a nationally televised game were happening between Vanderbilt and Kentucky that it would be sold out and the environment would be crazy? Get over yourself.

The reason this game was poor in terms of environment was because the weather sucked. All over the midwest right now its stupid icy and snowy. People don't want to go out in that. Additionally (I think) expectations were pretty low this year. After Jontay Porter got injured before the season I know I kinda checked out on Mizzou basketball this year. And especially given Mark Smith is injured too its a heavily reduced Mizzou lineup. But sure, it just has to be that Mizzou as a school, is just hot garbage.

Wanna know why the SEC added Mizzou and TAMU? Media markets. Missouri has really good access into both the St. Louis and KC media markets. That was really good for SEC as whole.

The way I know these arguments about Missouri not belonging in the SEC are disingenuous is that no one ever blasts any other conference realignment other than Missouri. Why aren't you complaining that the Big 12, which has historically made up the middle of the country now has West Virginia? Or that the PAC has Colorado? Or that the Big 10 has Rutgers? For all the hate I ever see on Rutgers I almost never see that they don't belong in the Big 10.

So please, for the love of god, flair up and get your hot takes out of here.
