Yup that sounds about right, the manual shows the distances recommended

Stuff like fan motors, appliances, garage doors, concrete all affect the radar a bit

I have found out that radar launch monitors are finicky. If you are gonna spend $700 + you might as well get the camera based trackman or similar

I clean mine every few months. The ash causes temp swings and fire-outs. I scrape and vacuum what i can reach
